Ordered this new charger for my Chevy volt. Works great I think it even charges my car faster than the original charger

I bought this to use as a spare cable and to keep it in the frunk when travelling. I used it once to try out and it works fine. The cable length is about the same as the Tesla brand cable. I was unable to buy a spare charging cable from Tesla because they were out of stock for several months, so I decided on this brand, much cheaper too. I already have a J1772 adapter so it's no problem.

It's good for what it is, though it doesn't provide for control by an app

I'm happy with this charger so far. I'm charging a 2017 Toyota Prius Prime at 8 amps charging rate. The charge completed in about 8 hours as expected. Status indicators show unit temperature, charging amps (set by the car), and elapsed time. Build quality is good. I'll be charging about 4 times per week so it'll take a while to comment on reliability. This is a good price point for a Level 1 charger and their customer support seems pretty good. I'm confident recommending this product for the Prius Prime.

It almost caught fire before it stopped working! Photos attached. Good thing it didn’t mess up my car. This charger has a good price point but there is a reason for that. I’ve had two of them fail on me. The first one had water inside and failed. The most recent one which I’ve had for less than 60 days just stopped working. Not worth it. It’s a shame that Amazon only has a 30 day return window on this as I just want my money back at this point. I would look elsewhere. Spend the extra money for a better charger.

Plug and wait overnight. Fits the need of charging overnight.

I liked that there was a nice little screen to tell you the amps being used currently, very fancy it's quite nice. I don't know exactly how it was ruined.. it may be because of harsh weather, cold hot windy stormy days a couple times in a row could've steadily whittled it down... maybe recommended for an inside charger and somewhere to hang it. but i don't recommend for someone that's probably just gonna have it lying down somewhere. it's probably where my fault is. but it did its job for a good while but it was also a tight squeeze for my nissan leaf as far as plugging it into the car

It’s been a year now and this has been amazing for charging our Tesla at home. We drive quite a bit but keep it plugged in overnight and have never had to use a charging station other than the few times we’ve gone out of town.

After only a few months, it broke. Would not recommend.
