Pokemon Tracing Card Game: Battle Academy Bundle, Multicolor

Looks like I'm into Pokemon cards again... It's been over a decade since I've had Pokemon Cards, but they're kinda the hype right now, so I got this starter pack so I could FaceTime with some of my nerd friends and we could play together. If you don't want the extra cards, just get the regular Battle Academy (~$20), but if you plan on building your own deck (as I did), then this is a great value to mess around with, especially since I can't find Pokemon cards in any store in my area (my local Target has a three-packs-per-purchase limit). If you're just leaning how to play the game, this is a great product, since it has a booklet that literally walks you through how to play the game.

This board has so many things for the price, that your would be blown away by the value!I got this for a Christmas gift to my daughter and she absolutely loved it. It has a beautiful board to put the cards, many decks of cards and even some powerful ones!I didn’t notice any pre open card decks and everything was perfect. Highly recommended for kid’s starting on Pokemon cards.

This is a great starter pack for kids that want to get into Pokemon cards. It also comes with a board stadium that helps you get the feel of laying your cards out the right way for battle. Although you get a bunch of packs to get you started and it comes with some great beginner cards all the packs are also filled with a lot and I mean a lot of double cards. For instance, for every 1 new card, you get there are 4 or 5 double cards to follow. Still, it was a great buy as all the cards can easily fill out a card case.

Bought this for my 9yo daughter who loves pokemon, and whose favorite pokemon is mewtwo. It's perfect. It walks you through how to play, step by step, and once you finish the tutorial, it also has a list of what to do during your turn right there on the board to remind you. The decks are very basic, as expected, but still effective. It's everything you need to learn the basics of how to play and how the cards work. Perfect for building confidence in a young, beginning player. My daughter absolutely loves it and is already asking for more booster cards. Some people found that their package had been previously opened and resealed, but ours appeared to be completely new and unopened.

My only issue with what I received, and the reason for it being a 4-star review, is because upon opening the exterior Amazon box the item came in, I noticed the front flaps that open the interior package were bent and the cardboard of the box is peeling back (as seen in the image attached). This is also before I removed the plastic wrapping around the item, so this must of been done in transit, or so that’s my guess. Beyond that, I received everything as advertised, including unopened booster packs. This is in contrast to a lot of others that have mentioned in their reviews receiving already opened, and resealed, booster packs.All items the package promised were there, not opened anytime before (that I can tell), and the value is great, especially compared to the market currently for Pokémon cards. Best you can get is $4 per booster pack, if you can find them that cheap right now, and the Academy part of this purchase goes for, at best, $20 at my local Target store. So for $40, you get the base game which typically goes for half the price ($20), and the best part with this is you also get 6 booster packs, which at best, would go for $24. So that’s at least a $44 value, if not more, for cheaper.My kids get to learn how to play the game, and we also get to expand our card collections with 6 booster packs. Thank you for this!

At first glance I had thought the packs had been resealed. And after reading some of the reviews about there packs being tampered with. I ordered it aways. I pulled a 168/147 dark energy secret rare. And a few reverse holos. And a couple regular holos. So now I dont know cuz I had some decent pulls. But the packs did in fact look like they had been tampered with. But I can't say for sure after pulling the secret rare. All I can say is buy at your own risk I guess ... but I had a good experience no complaints so 5 stars from me

This product was very good and the packs do not look tampered with. I pulled a gx full art out of one of them. The game definitely teaches you the basics of how to play. There are six packs of cards included with the game as well as two mini binders. It also includes the game mat.

Packs were unopened and sealed inside the box. Was wary with all the 1 star reviews recently, but I got a legitimate product.The packs were pretty garbage though. Unfortunate, but no evidence of foul play. Perfect set for learning to play, and having a bit of pack opening fun.
