Not super stylish, but then I've been frustrated by the ineffectiveness of various "stylish" coasters for years. These don't slip at all, they don't leak through, and the unpolished rubber on the upper portion grips cups, mugs, and glasses well. And one of my favorite features, due to it being a pet peeve from prior coasters, is that these don't STICK to the bottom of the glass when you pick it up - no matter how much the glass sweats. I also like the size - not so large that their "utilitarian" appearance becomes an issue, but large enough for all but one of my mugs (which is absolutely huge, and actually I can still use the coaster by turning it over).

The description says that these are 4 Inch coasters and one of pictures shows outer diameter as 4 inch. But the spec included in the box says that coasters width is 3.9 inches. I measured them and found that they are 3.9 inches. For everybody else it is not important, but for me it is very important. I needed coasters with diameter at least 4 inch or more, not 3.9.Unfortunately, most likely I will return them. If you show size 4 then it must be 4. If it 3.9 then show it as 3.9. It is very simple to me.

You won't find a better basic coaster. I waited awhile before writing this review, to see how these coasters would hold up with use and washing. They are excellent. Simple, basic, good quality material. Washes easily (I hand wash). Coasters do not slip on surfaces, and glasses do not slip on the coasters. Small lip on coaster isn't meant to hold a big spill of coarse, but is just right for a cold drink that sweats. I like that the lip is not too big. No need for a container, these stack and cling a bit to one another in a drawer. Don't bother spending more money on something else - these are just what you need. I'm very happy with them.

I purchased because it was stated that these coasters would not stick to a wet surfaced glass which is something I hate. So I got these and they do not stick to most glasses but they do stick to my bathroom glass that I use on my nightstand overnight (has a silicone type bottom on it) that does stick! Other than that they seem like a good product.

Really liked this set of coasters. I use some for my dining table and office. It definitely stays in place. The only thing is they can get dirty quick, but luckily they are really easy to clean and comes off quick.

I love these coasters so far! They were priced right! Easy to clean. Once they are on a surface, they will not slide around. They do not stick to the bottom of the glass when you pick it up - no matter how much the glass sweats. I am throwing away the other junk coasters I have bought over the years and sticking with these. You will not be disappointed with this product!
