Had quite a few nas boxes and so far this is the best. Plenty of apps available and loads of great features. Supports link aggregation so connecting is a breeze, and it really is fast and lively. I use it with a Mac Pro Well here we are a few months down the line and Ive had a few problems with this nas. It was connected via a new qnap 2.5Gbe switch and at first worked great. But then started dropping its connection, I could not find it on the network etc and could not login to it. I spent days researching on the internet and it seems its a problem with the drivers built in. I am not sure if it is just with the switch I was using but reading between the lines it seems not. ie: It will struggle when connected to any network over Gigabit speeds so be wary. But on the plus side it is still quicker than my other two nas boxes. I now have it connected to a normal gigabit switch and at the moment it is working fine. I have removed two stars from previous score.
