Duncurin has been taking a look at these wonderful furniture/shelf right angle supports. First thing I need to confess is that I didn’t use them for either of the above. On looking at the dimensions they were the perfect size to support a small circuit board in one of my electronics projects. In point of fact they were a teeny bit long and I needed to trim them a little in order for the front panel switch to go through one ‘leg’ and then the circuit board to sit on top of the other ‘leg’. I was a teeny but worried after a bit of cutting drilling and fling whether their strength would be severely compromised, but in point of fact they remained sturdy and well able to encompass the screw thread of the round push switch and also take the tiny screws that anchor the circuit board. The circuit board then has a USB-C connector which of course will have a lead plugged into it and removed from it regularly so it was important that the whole assembly wasn’t flapping about. All my fears on this front were unfounded.Please note on cutting and filing the material becomes a little ‘fluffy’, but if you take your time and use a file to tidy them up, this is kept to a minimum. I also drilled some tiny pilot holes so that the 4 screws that pass through each corner of the circuit board and then into these right angle supports are screwed down tight and secure rather than get bent trying to get through resistant material.The whole thing came together perfectly and of course their cost-effective price means that one can have a few goes until one gets it right.Please see some photos of the work in progress.

Used them to help place a tumble drier, on a custom built shelf inside a cabinet above a washing machine. Since tumble drier is heavy, we built a block of wood at the back (drilled into the wall) and at the 2 sides of the cabinet, and then placed 2 of these plastic shelf supports underneath the blocks of wood, on each side of the cabinet (4 in total) - none at the back, since the back piece was drilled into the wall.The cabinet and therefore shelf were very wide and the tumble drier heavy, so we did not use these plastic pieces alone to support the shelf (blocks of wood mainly did that) - but underneath the blocks of wood these worked a treat - adding great additional support. They are not only useful for corners - they can be used along and under a block of wood that supports a shelf.

I used these to hold up shelving in my shed. They do not look strong and I doubt they would hold heavy shelving but they work well for me.
