One was not leak proof, but the other 3 were fine.
We used these during a Ruck March event to raise money for Wounded Warrior. We filled two bags to total 20% of each person's body weight with water, stuffed them in a backpack and marched many miles. That's a ruck march. These performed very well. Unfortunately, one lid did not seal correctly and dribbled a bit under the punishment. But the bags are VERY sturdy. Also great for storing water in advance of disaster situation or weather events!

I use it dispose of used deep frying oil
Though this product is primarily for storing consumables like water, I find that it's great for disposal of cooking oil. My deep frier uses about 2 quarts of oil. So I can't dump it down the drain once I've used the oil. These containers are just the right size and leak-proof. Very easy to then put the oil with the rest of my trash for town collection.

Great even for filling with rice/grains!
Didn’t want a solid rice container so instead I filled a few of these up with white and brown rice. They are thick so it would take a lot or a very sharp object to rip. And they have a lock ring for anti-tampering the first time you close a lid, if you are distributing these.

Test for Leaks before Return Window Expires
These are very sturdy water containers with endless uses. When empty, they fold up for easy storage. Two flaws: (1) the only opening is the cap, so cleaning is not convenient. (2) one container out of the four we purchased leaked on first use, but we were beyond our return window when we tested. Otherwise, the price is good and delivery was fast. I didn't notice any unpleasant taste from the plastic.

Great Water Bags
I purchased these water bags for a family roadtrip and for use all summer to haul artesian spring water from a community well. I've been hauling water every week since my purchase and I am delighted. I don't place them in risky situations such as by sharp tools, rocks etc and that's about all the considerations I've had to make for this product. Thus far they have served me well and I think if I can dry them out well that they may even last 2-3 seasons with mindful care and use. Just make sure to tighten the lids while you travel because if you don't they can leak a small amount depending on if anything is putting pressure on them. I'm happy with this product and am glad I made this choice. Also I have several injuries and I like the fact that they're not too heavy empty or filled and I can fill them less if I am having a bad day. I find them easy to fill, carry and pour! I plan to wash them with a bit of vinegar and water and hope they dry out completely to store for future use. I still have all four in great condition and I am using them every day, and filling them weekly for over 2+ months. Since they're always filled I haven't cleaned them yet, and there is no sign of mildew or mold. I keep them covered and out of the sun when filled and empty.

They freeze well
I got these to bring water for a 4-day back country kayak trip. Several smaller containers are better than one large one because if one large container is lost you lose it all. Also, it is much easier to bring a smaller container into camp and leave the others stowed. When these are full they have a tringle shape, but at half full they are more flat. I put about a gallon in each, folded over about 4 inches of the top and froze them lying flat. That allowed me to pack all four of them into a soft-sided cooler, with some frozen food in the center. They stayed frozen/cold for 2+ days in 84-degree Florida heat and I had 2 days of fresh food. As they melted I had cold water to drink and on the second night I brought 2 of them into my tent to lie on to cool off. It made a nice pillow. They are sturdy and durable.

Handy as pockets on a shirt!
I use them primarily to have extra drinking water on the boat rather than having tank tasting water. Bags are sturdy, clean and non-tasting…. Lids seal tight and don’t leak and grab handles are sturdy. One chilly night I partially filled a bag with hot water and used it as a hot water bottle for my feet in bed and worked like a champ and didn’t deform the bag. I’ve given quite a few of them away to friends as they’ve made comments like “I could really use one of those”… maybe they just like the free ones right 😉. The original order of 4 bags was absolutely perfect and I’m 100% satisfied however I reordered a new order 5 days ago and to my dismay they haven’t even shipped yet…. Why is it taking so long for companies anymore to process their orders on Amazon, I’ll give them until tomorrow and if my order isn’t shipped I’ll cancel my order and go with another distributor and brand as I’ve read a review that said he had waited 2 months for his 2nd order to get to him.

Very handy and not as big as a bucket
I purchased these so I could fill them up with my dog shampoo and conditioner. When I am at the self dog wash, I didn't wanna have to haul buckets around with me so these work really well they're good value and good price I highly recommend.
