Great size for younger toddlers
These counter animals are perfect for busy toddler activities. My 1 and 2 year olds favorite activities have been scavenger hunting, wall rescue (tape them onto a wall or window), or just plain old dump truck transfer. They are pliable, almost squishy rubber figures. They are lightweight and don’t hurt too bad when chucked across the room. The colors are very bright and great for sorting. All and all they’re a cheap toy that will give you lots of possibilities for open ended play that fit perfectly in a 1 year olds hand.

Good choice for little ones
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Nice big size for toddlers who are still putting things in their mouth.

Long playability life
I first bought these counters when my son was a toddler (age 8 now). We used them for years. played with them, used them in playdough, etc. I used them with other kids after that (in preschool classes etc.) and have since bought this set as gifts for various children. Every small child who has come in contact with these has loved them. They stick them on their fingers, play with them in play dough, play with them in water (outside fun in the summer), etc. They're durable and a great toy.

Count your animal pieces!!
First off, I think these are adorable and perfect for toddler hands because they are large & won’t cause a choking hazard. I purchased this set for my grandsons 2nd birthday next week. After reading reviews with pieces missing, I decided I had better check the set I had received. There were only 28 pieces and not 30 like the container stated. I am missing a red pig and a green chicken. I will call Learning Resources tomorrow to see if they can send me the missing animals. If not I will send them back.

These are fantastic!
Love these for my 16-month old. They're flexible, big enough to not be a choking hazard, and there's a great mix of colors and animals in the container. It's easy to fit all the animals back into the container, and while the lid stays put, it is easy enough for her to open herself, too. I also like that these are not solid, they're open on the bottom, so they stand up really well and can be washed easily!

Very simple but one of my 2 year old's favorite toys. She got them for Christmas when she was 18 months old and has played with them pretty much every day for the past year. Not only are they fun to arrange in her barns, but the work well in a wading pool in the summer, are fun to count, sort, learn colors and animals, and even my infant likes his sister's farm animals as teethers. Despite all this use, they look just like they did the day we got them, very durable!

Good size for toddlers
Great for toddlers who like to put everything in their mouth. These are a great size to prevent that from happening

Fun Easy Play
I ordered these for my two year old grandson and we have had some much fun with them. We say the sounds that each animal makes, sort them in colors, and sort into groups of the same animal. They are a perfect size to hold and not too small that I am worried about being put into his mouth. They have gone in the bath, but I do dry them off after. They came in a little plastic container, but I have stored them in a little draw string bag.

Good size, very solid, has a good weight to them. They are not the typical hollow in the middle ping pong ball like toys so cannot get squished. I like that they are nice and flat on the bottom and has some weight to them, makes it much easier to place and are not easily knocked over - both of which can be frustrating to toddlers.

A mi hija le encantan, se puede agrupar por color o por animalito, se la pasa jugando con ellos, y otros juguetes de la misma línea de learning resources

We needed larger counters for a large training game at work. A tub of animals, five types with six different colours, arrived and while I've handed some over for the game, I need to resist displaying the others in the office as they are so cute. A really good size and the vivid colours should stop players confusion over who is who. Thank you.

These farm counters are well made but in my opinion, not value for money. I think it's a case of putting the word "educational" and charging what you please. Sad really as I was expecting more. £5 less and I would have been very happy as they are only hard plastic and the bucket isn't so sturdy.

Très bonne ressource éducative qui permet une introduction aux concepts pré-mathématiques. Solides. Belles couleurs quoique le violet et le bleu soient assez proches et parfois pas faciles à discerner pour un todler
