Deep Blue Corals 894465 7.25" Small Poseidon Statue

My boyfriend refused to pay for someone to sculpt a mini statue of himself posing half-naked for me, so I was pleased when this arrived that this looked very much like him. It has the same intimidating eyebrows and everything.In all seriousness, it also seems to be fairly good quality so far and feels different from the ornament I had of Squidward's house earlier that kept peeling paint. I will report back if this ornament either begins to peel or lets himself go.Update: the paint is flaking off, so I docked one star.

This is a really nice statue, visually speaking. It's got a little bit of heft to it, and can sit well in the aquarium.Having said that, there's one flaw: There's no hole for air relief in the top of the statue (could have been in the head or neck, wherever) and so if air accumulates inside the large void inside the statue, it will eventually float right off the bottom. I solved this problem with a power drill, once I realized what was happening.Other than that, great decor,excellent coloring and fine detail.

I love this product!! The only problem was that I had to have my cousin drill a small hole in his back so he wouldn't float. He was very careful so it didn't crack completely. It looks really good!!

I bought both the small and lge poseidon statues and got them sent to Australia. They made it in pristine condition.I was shocked how big the large statue is but its such a striking centrepiece in a 6ft tank it was well worth getting it sent to Australia. Small one looked good in the 4ft tank as well and I was happy with the quality and postage time. 9yr old at home found it hilarious you could see poseidons robe had slipped at the back for the top of his backside to be slightly exposed but its not in bad taste. Adds to the character of the piece. Its quite well made

Nice price for a nice piece. It fits in well with my grecian themed tank and the fish don't seem to mind it.

Nice addition to my Atlantis themed aquarium. Not too find of the color (It's sort of a pastelle/moss green) But it does blend in so well and has a soft glow under the LED lighting.

Very well made. Cleans up easily when it needs it. Total eye catcher in my tank! The face is made with great detail like putting wrinkles in his face, his short cut flowing hair and beard. If you look him over there's a lot of detail that was put into this, he even has a belly button :). It was well worth it for the price.
