Great buy...
I purchased this item for my grandmother, who lost the 3 middle fingers on her hand to cancer. She loves to play cards during the holidays when all the family gathers, but at times would have a hard time keeping hold off all the cards with just her pinkie and thumb. This was perfect for her. I loved that it came with more than on card holder that way others could use them if they wanted and not completely single her out. She absolutely loves the card holders and recommends them for young children who have smaller hands and can not hold alot of cards, along with others with similar disabilities as here own.

Works After Repair and Pricey
The design of the card holders is okay. The problem is that it was put together with low quality glue. It is basically a sandwich of plastic, rubber, rubber, and another piece of plastic. One rubber piece is supposed to be glued to each piece of plastic. However, the glue used was so cheap that the rubber was peeling away from the plastic. When trying to use them, the cards would go between the rubber and plastic instead of between the 2 rubber pieces. Luckily everything was screwed together so it was easy to disassemble. I took off the rubber pieces and re-glued them with model cement like the stuff used to put model cars and airplanes together. After reassembly, they worked pretty good. They are a bit pricey for what you get. It's just molded plastic, rubber, and screws. When I first took them out of their box, they were a little worn from rubbing against each other. They probably should put some cheap cardboard between them to prevent this. But, it's not a big deal either. They're just going to get worn when using them anyway.I did like that they came in four different colors. If you have the tools, you can easily make some cardholders out of a piece of wood. My dad and I made 8 of them in about 30 minutes. They are about 11'' wide with 3 slots to hold the cards. They work great. I'd say even better than the plastic card holders.

Pretty good!
Purchased these so my children could play "go fish" and "old maid" without dropping the cards. Did the job and my kids loved them! The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is that on the side of the holders the cards slip out if not placed in deep. I'm sure it isn't a problem for an adult, but something to be aware of for children.

Card holders
Rather bulky.. I used one three times and was always fearful that the people next to me would see it. They all claimed they could not. One, said she had to move her set forward in order not to see. I was able to pay with up to 19 cards in at once. But, why four in a package?????Patti

Card Player
I got these as my husband can't hold cards for very long anymore. While I am pretty happy with how they work, there are a few problems. The inside felt is glued on. The glue in one of them is still tacky inside which got all over the cards. They were jammed into the box so the colors rubbed off on each other. Also, judging from the packaging and goop (for lack of a better word), it looked like they had been used and returned before. I did buy them new for almost $20 and now they're on sale for $9.99. Not happy about that.

Nice
Sometimes when you put in the cards you get glue on them. Seems to go between the glued in pad and holder. Also the need a rubber pad on the feet so keep them from slipping. They do a great job in holding the cards and helping your hands not get so tired.

Questionable Product
I was looking for something to hold in one's hand to hold additional cards. Unfortunately, they were bunglesome, hard to handle. The ladies I play cards w/@ the Senior Citizen Center didn't like them and refused to use them. Sorry. I thought they sounded like a good idea for those of us w/arthiritis. Unfortunately they didn't work for this group of ladies.I would recommend it someone were interested in something of this nature, they might try this item to see if it meets their personal needs.
