I purchased this light bulb more because I was intrigued with the corn row effect and how bright would it be. Well let me tell you, it is very bright. I have CFLs in a light fixture that have yellow tinted shades around the bulb, see picture below. And if I didn't know any better I would think the cover around the LED Corn Bulb Lamp was a much lighter color than what it is. The wattage of the CFLs currently in the light fixture in the picture are 100w equivalent CFL bulbs. I am not sure exactly where I will use this bulb but clearly I have many options of where I could place it if I wanted to really lighten up a room. I may end up using it in the garage for the time being, not sure yet.I don’t know about you, but I depend very heavily on reviews that are posted on Amazon, even if I am purchasing an item elsewhere, I read what the reviewers here have to say.
