GZW-Shop Audio Video Capture Card, HDMI to USB 2.0 1080P Record via DSLR Camcorder Action Cam for High Definition Acquisition, Live Streaming, Live Broadcasting

I bought this capture card on the advice of Eposvox, who reviewed a nearly identical looking card on his channel. From my experience using this capture card, I believe this to be the same card from his video (at least, the one I received was - your mileage may vary as is often the case with cheaper non-branded products.)My background is as a casual streamer who doesn't take the hobby too seriously, but I also do an office job on the side - so having a cheap way to use my existing DSLR as a webcam was really appealing to me for occasional streams and regular video calls.This capture card (for the price) really can't be between whatsoever. It's amazing to me that you can reasonably spend more on a high quality HDMI cable than this card! Even if it barely worked it'd be more than meeting expectations.The picture quality is perfectly sharp to my eye with no visible artefacts whatsoever, and it has a perfectly acceptable amount of latency, causing zero audio sync issues with a separate input source. I've used it at both 1080/30 and 720/60 and OBS has had zero issues using it with either mode. It will not provide a 4K output of any kind (if it did I would've been speechless for less than £10.)The only things of note I've found from a month or so of use, are that it gets slightly warm whilst in active use, and after not using it for a while, I've found it needs unplugging and replugging again (not sure if it's my PC or the card itself.)There is no competition at this price point - the nearest alternatives would be second hand Elgato cards which would set you back at least 4 times as much money, and probably not actually provide that much more functionality or quality benefit.If you want a capture card that works, and provides you with a usable image from an HDMI input source - please, just buy this. You will not regret it, and if you get unlucky and have a dodgy unit which fails quickly as some others have had, it's less than £10 as of when I bought it - easily replaceable. You may well be lucky like me, and get one that (as of a few months into use) seems to be holding up well and doing far better than it's price suggests.Absolutely recommended.

I purchased this on the basis of the positive reviews from other buyers of this audio video capture device. The audio and picture quality is amazing. But the moving video images are not smooth and very jittery, to which is very off-putting. Perhaps I was extremely unlucky with my purchase, but there are many sellers of this product both on Amazon and eBay and a large portion of buyers did mention the same description as I have done so here, regarding the moving video images. I purchased this particular one from Amazon as I could not find any negative reviews. Again, perhaps I was just unlucky!

Such good value for the money. Does what an elegato camlink would do for next to nothing in price. Highly recommended.I paired this with a GoPro Hero 3+, to use when streaming and making content.‘I’ve never looked so crisp, the quality is awesome’ is a comment made by friends on Discord.

My pc didn’t have a hdmi input only an output so got this just had to download obs studio which works well with windows 11 got used to the obs software after a while very happy with it

Brilliant device, so easy to use and install. You plug in your pc then starch the hdmi source cable, ie switch or bluray or TV, and record in on your pc. Great simple and small
