FREEWELL Magnetic Quick Swap System 82mm Circular Polarizer (CP) Camera Filter

This is a great CPL which is really convenient to put on and take off. It works well and does not appear to have affected my optics negatively in any way I can see. I've knocked a start off because the filters don't play nice with other filters you may have as you can't screw anything into the front of them, but that's a minor quible.Another thing to watch out for is that some of them will have a weaker magnetic pull. My original 82mm CPL would stick to the included lenscap and come off the body, menaing I'd have to take it off the lenscap to put it back on each time. I returned that one and got a new one which works as expected. If I hadn't already had a 77mm CPL which worked fine, I might even have abandoned the system as not working. So keep that in mind if you get a duff unit.

Idea of magnetic filter it’s great but only when it comes to ND filters, unfortunately with this CPL it doesn’t work that great. You can only turn this filter one way otherwise you will unscrew the ring holding it. As a result, it takes a lot longer to adjust it. I don't recommend it! Traditional screw filter are a lot better.

I love these filters. One thing I've always hated was screwing filters on and off. The magnetic filters are the perfect solution. I don't notice any huge colour tint or loss of sharpness with these filters. They stay firmly on my lens. The magnetic cap is totally awesome. I wish all caps were like this.The only downside I see is that it is hard to take the filter off or turn it if you have your lens hood on. But I've noticed this with other screw on filters I use anyways, so it's not unusual.I would definitely recommend these filters.

il sistema magnetico, secondo me, è una bella trovata! poi sul valore tecnico del polarizzatore se ne può parlare: speravo in qualcosa di meglio, ma per un fotoamatore come me direi che è già discreto;03/06/21: rettifico in peggio il giudizio espresso precedentemente;usato in due mesi in ogni situazione: posso dire che non da alcun effetto polarizzatore;l'ho usato su sigma 10-20 mm f/3.5, con dimetro di 82 mm; inutile!

Lo tuve que devolver porque vino rayado no se porque motivo el tema magnético no es muy recomendable el filtro en si esta bien, hace su función pero hay mejores si esta rayado es porque es cristal puro debe ser de calidad eso no lo puedo decir solo que cuando lo puse a contraluz para limpiarlo llevaba una pequeña raya

These magnetic filter are so awesome to use in the field! Allows me to quickly and easily add a quickly so I don’t miss the moment! I also love that the base magnetic part is a Uv filter which protects the front element on my lens...will definitely be buying more!

Did side-by-sides with Kase, and I'm returning the Kase. This kit is more than 2x the value. My image comparison was identical (EOS R + RF 24-70 2.8). The included cap (Kase charges extra) and even the storage case are better.
