Great replacement part for waterslide hose
I bought this to fit the tubing for our blow up waterslide. A piece broke off at the beginning of the season and this barbed fitting is perfect size for the tubing and the hose.

These fittings are a dime a dozen in brass and other metals, but very hard to find in polymer (PVC, ABS, etc.)I'm using it to adapt the Sicce Ultra Zero 793gph water pump, which resides at the bottom of the reservoir for my 45gal hydroponics system, to a short length of tubing to send the water out through a series of other fittings and a hose whenever the system needs to be drained. Strange that the pump is threaded for GHT, but it's a good pump. The fitting works well, although I tossed the gasket it came with (seemed too thick at a glance) and replaced with a thinner one I had laying around.

Does the job. Used it to replace fittings on an air hose for a scuba hookah with a compressor. Do note that this is not a one piece fitting, the shaft with the barbs and the GHT thread rotate freely so you can thread it down but tighten up as the threads tighten
