Morrisons Basmati Boil in The Bag Rice, 4 x 125g

I used to use basmati microwave bags which are pretty convenient and are ready in a couple of minutes. However, I found that the rice sticks together and goes into clumps. These bags are a 'halfway house' in convenience. You dont have to spend ages rinsing the rice like you do with loose, you just pop them into boiling salted water... cover the pan and simmer and you'll have lovely fluffy rice 10 minutes later. Iv'e found that one bag is a perfect potion size for 2 people when used to accompany a curry. If I'm making a fried rice as a main course, then I use 1 bag per person.These bags are good value and work every time if you follow the instructions, so I would recommend them.

Really like these bags of rice. Very easy to use with great result every time I use them.I drop them in a pan of boiling water with a chicken fillet, cook them together and the rice benefits from the chicken stock.Very tasty.

The microwave rice is so quick and easy it mskes your meals just do much easier

Honetly, id never thought I would review a bag of rice, but these are great.Perfectly cooked rice each time, no burnt rice and the bottom of the pan and no chance of over/undercooking it. You basically cook it like pasta, in as much water as you like, then fish out the bags when its time. Will be buying again!

Light and fluffy

I had been using the microwave bags for years and I wish I had switched to these sooner - the rice cooks perfectly and has a much nicer texture and flavour - won’t go back to microwave bags again.

Easy enough to boil in the bag, but would be good to have some guidance on how much the final boiled rice should weigh/serve
