iCrius Reading Light for Bed, Table Lamps for Bedroom, Dimmable LED Desk Lamp

I bought this to make it easier to read in bed. I have a weird bed that has molding on every edge. You cannot see this from the picture, but that clamp opens 4 inches, and if it had been a quarter of an inch smaller, it would have been of no use to me. I knew this when I bought it, and expected to just eat the cost. Anyway, about two days later there was a big power outage lasting 2 days, and we happened to have an external battery that can be used to charge phones through the USB. Well that battery, and this light kept the family in meaningful light for a couple of days, not just a bunch of flash lights. The goose neck is almost 12" long, and in my configuration, the goose neck is a full U shape, because the lamp had to be mounted upwards, but also needed the light to be lower. That is asking a lot of the goose neck, and it would be nice if it were a little more flexible, but given what I have asked of it already, I would say I am thrilled with the product.

UPDATE: Well, after working flawlessly for the first ~30 days apparently something has failed in the LED switch that would normally cycle the brightness between Low/Med/High/Off. Now, when switched on via touch sensitive switch, the LED assembly cycles rapidly thru the three brightness levels before, once again, coming to rest at the Off position. ** I will be contacting Amazon for return instructions in the next few days as my schedule allows.** This is a shame as I liked this lamp initially and gave it a glowing review which I'm leaving intact below. Oh well, Que Sera Sera==================================================================================I needed a clamp-on desk lamp to replace one I've had for years and decided to go with this one. I've only had it a couple days as of this writing but so far, I like it. The cord terminates in a full size USB male connector and a converter is supplied that plugs into an AC outlet on one side and the other side has two female full size USB connectors. One for the lamp and the other? For whatever else you may need USB power only (ie no signal, just power as would be needed for this type of lamp for example).On the top of the light (LED x qty 22) housing is a touch sensitive switch which cycles between Low-Mid-High and Off for the LEDs.The spring for the clamp is plenty strong and attaches solidly to my desk and the LED light attaches to the clamp with a flexible gooseneck mount ~20 inches long. I can't think of a reason to give this lamp anything other than a 5 Star rating. Might just order another one for bedside. I like it!

I really love this reading light. It is everything the ad says and more. This light has a large, sturdy clip that will fit on a thick headboard or table. It is also strong enough to hold in any position, but not so strong that you can't squeeze it to open. I have arthritis in my hands and I had no problem attaching the light to my headboard. It also has a rubber disk on the clip so it doesn't mar what ever you attach it to. I especially like the light having more than one setting for brightness and that the light does not have a glare. If you need a reading light or a light to do needle work, this is the light for you.I highly recommend this light and seller.MLK

For years I've needed a simple lamp like this. I plug it into my laptop and clamp it behind my monitor (a drawing table - Cintiq). The backlight flows under the monitor, illuminating the keyboard with a nice, soft light...just enough to see the keyboard labels; I should have bought a USB lamp like this ages ago. The lamp is a little bigger than I expected, but it's still great. The fact that I can plug it into the wall with the adapter is also a boon.Another benefit is that I can light my room with my laptop now, if there's a power cut!The lamp's 3 settings are nice; very low is great for late night, full power is - full power.

The clamp is very strong. I have no problems attaching it to a variety of surfaces and angles. The flexible neck allows me to rotate the light as needed for optimal use on all my projects. The USB connector allows me to utilize portable batteries when I am traveling and don't have access to an outlet.The light will begin to flicker after prolonged use, over 90-120 minutes, on highest power. After a short cool down period it will function normally.

Love the design, length of cord and the clip. Like, a lot, the power switch and how it's three levels. The neck takes it down a star, it's not strong enough for it to stay where and how you place it.All in all, it's good for our five year olds desk. He likes having his own light and the price point on this made it well worth the gamble.I'd add a star just for the sense of humor the company has if I could.

Just received the lamp yesterday but it is exactly like described and is working great. I bought it to clamp to an end table for better reading light. I have a pretty lamp on that table that I want to keep there but it doesn't give me enough light for comfortable reading. I clamped this lamp on the edge of that table and I am able to shine bright light right on my reading material. I like it.

For an inexpensive little lamp, this puts out a powerful light that is perfect for reading in bed. I like that it can be dimmed so that there is just a tiny bit of light for nights when we need to see but don't want to keep the other person awake. The light is not a glaring light; it is focused and clear. The only complaint I have is that the cord is rather short. I don't have a USB connection where I am using this lamp, and it just barely reaches the outlet. Otherwise, this is a nifty little lamp!
