Good Grips Nylon Spaghetti Server

Looked forward to purchasing this OXO spaghetti server. We had one from another [nameless] company that fell apart after less than a year. But we loved the concept of the server. When I saw this on Amazon, I knew we had to get it. The OXO spaghetti server is great for collecting a single noodle from the boiling water to check for al dente, for stirring in sauces or butter or heavy cream for alfredo, for folding in extra sharp cheddar cheese for making cheese spaghetti (a favorite), and for serving all types of pasta. And it works great for serving cooked veggies. The utensil is sturdy, with a solid feeling gripper handle, it doesn't feel flimsy as some others we've tried. Overall this is the best spaghetti server ever! Definitely would recommend the OXO Spaghetti Server to others.

Works good in the kitchen

After my previous pasta scoop broke, I went for a few months without one in my kitchen. I quickly realized how much I missed having one around, so eventually I shopped around and landed on this OXO one. This pasta scoop has become my go-to in the kitchen. It effortlessly tackles the primary job of scooping pasta, and the wide scoop design is handy for meatballs or other culinary tasks. The handle is comfy enough, and it looks very sturdy and well-made. After a few months of regular use, it's reassuring to see the scoop holding up well without any noticeable wear or damage. Cleaning up is a piece of cake – I just toss it into the dishwasher's top rack, and it comes out squeaky clean every time. It's a solid kitchen tool that's totally worth the price tag, and a considerable upgrade over my old scoop.

The spaghetti server that came with the utensil set I got as a wedding gift many years ago finally broke recently and I needed a new one. I have had a great experience with OXO products so I ordered this expecting it would be no different. Indeed it has done its job well and seems sturdy and well made. I like the material of the handle and the length of the wand. I like the shape of the basket as well as it is wider and not quite as deep as my old one. That enables it to scoop up tortellini or ravoli in addition to long thin pastas like angel hair, spaghetti and linguini. Let's be honest though, the best part about any kitchen utensil is the ability to throw it in the dishwasher! This bad boy is not only dishwasher safe but is heat resistant to 400 degrees. What more could you want out of spaghetti server? Short of being made of gold, this is a fine and sturdy kitchen instrument that does its job without any fuss! What more do you need to know?
