Great replacement and easy to use
This item is a good replacement remote control for my old SONY BRAVIA TV (which used the remote control RM-YD035).I only need to install batteries and then I can immediately use it without any pairing or further setup.I may buy one more as additional backup.

DOES NOT WORK Update: Replacement worked.
Update: Replacement worked.Did not work. New batteries were inserted. It does not send a signal. Tested with new batteries. Phone camera confirmed no signal no blue light when pointed at camera and power button pushed.

This after-market remote controller for older Sony television sets worked perfectly out-of-the-box. All that had to be done was place new batteries in the controller, and you’re set to go.The cover on the battery compartment is a little hard to open and may require a little extra effort to open. However once you get it open, you’ll easily figure out how to get it open when you replace batteries the next time.Compared to the original controller, this replacement feels as though the thickness of the plastic is not as thick. However, this replacement works just fine and is worth purchasing.My rating is 5 Stars due to working out-of-the-box without any problems.
