Blue Matcha Butterfly Pea Flower Powder - Natural Superfood Blue Colouring - Mix with Beverages, Smoothies and Baking 50g tin

I am in love with this powder as a natural blue food colouring! Purchased to make a 'Wedgewood Blue' butter icing, a tiny amount of this powder dissolved in a little warm water worked absolutely perfectly!In my experience, the colour is fairly stable in air (resists oxidation).You can tweak the colour by adjusting the pH of your suspension - it becomes magenta with acidity (eg lemon juice) and green with alkalinity (eg bicarbonate of soda). The transition is quite gradual making the colour easy to manipulate.The flavour isn't particularly desirable - I certainly would not use it on its own to make tea, but the flavour/aroma is extremely mild and (in my opinion) undetectable when used to colour other foods/drinks.

I love the colour. Plus the fact that its healthy, and helps with blurred vision. I'm trying healthy drinks now due to diabetes diagnosis. I mixed in chain latte and seemed to taste s bit more creamy. I'll be buying agsin

Till now I have only used whole flowers, which I love - they have very mild, almost non-existent aroma, but the colour is somehow addictive - I drink it with lemon and ginger tea, which works very well.The matcha on the other hand has in comparison a very strong taste, not particularly nice either, somehow sharp. Not enjoying it, which is disappointing - will have to use, as the product is not cheap, hoping that it is healthy. I will definitely not buy again and would recommend to everyone to go for whole flowers instead. Unless the purpose is exclusively for colour, in which case, this product is easier.

Its a beautiful drink, either hot or cold! Its got a nice flavor and taste! The color is beautiful, gorgeous Blue Color! It makes a beautiful Ombre!! You can you it in Baking, Cooking, Smoothies, Ice Cold Drinks, Coffee and Tea!!
