I had two strips of LEDs, plugged into each other. What was happening was the first strip suffered from having the second plugged in at the end, and the colors of each didn't quite match. I picked up this splitter and ran them both connected to the power supply (rather than daisy chained) and it fixed that issue. This was perfect for what I needed.
