Booster Iced Lime Shave Lotion

I remembered when i was young stealing my dad's lime scented electric shave and how good it felt and smelled. I bought this based on memories i had of that and i have to say it doesn't disappoint. My first thought when i opened it and smelled it was that it was like a lime freezer pop, the smell is fantastic. It's not overpowering and will give you hints it's still there throughout the day. It has a nice tingle to it after you shave(i wet shave)but it dosen't have the massive cold effect to it. I think it's a very balanced product.

The astringent feeling is good. What I'm not so hot on is the smell. It's smells way too sweet for me. I'll hold on to it but I'm sticking with Bay Rum for now.

This is just a bunch of chemicals (water, fragrance, food coloring, alcohol, etc.- nothing natural in it) but I'm kind of obsessed with things that smell like limes so decided to give it a try. It smells like limes and is refreshing. There is a natural brand HBG that offers a Key Lime scent that is very nice too, but I've noticed that one dissipates extremely quickly. This one sticks around longer and is not too strong or too weak. I like using it occasionally on the weekends mostly. The plastic bottle is very large (14 ounces) for an aftershave, which will last over a year I'm sure. I would recommend it for guys that like the traditional lime-scented colognes and aftershaves. It reminds me of the good old days decades ago. It is hard to find lime aftershaves in stores nowadays so I was glad to come across this on Amazon.

Unlike some aftershaves, this one by Booster's smells like limes! It is excellent! Thanks so much!

It's ok for the weekends only if you know what I mean,,,,,like after you mow the lawn and don't have to interact with anyone.

I rather like the scent of the Booster Iced Lime. The scent is lime, but very sweet, like lime flavored gummy worms or something. I like it! The smell stimulates something in my brain that makes me feel happy. (must be some hidden childhood memory) But the scent fades rapidly, and in no time at all, it's as if you never put any scent on. Mind you, I don't like to fill a room with my essence, but I like to get subtle reminders that I have a scent on my person. The shave lotion is marginally average, to below average as far as skin conditioning, for my sensitive face. Buy this and try it for yourself. See if it brings a smile to your face, or if it's just me.

I really wanted a lime aftershave because my girlfriend complains that bay rum makes me smell like a cinnamon roll. This smells good but fades to nothing in about ten minutes. I also liked the astringent feeling of my Gabel's Bay Rum. If you want a milder aftershave that will stop smelling by the time you get to work this is perfect. I will be looking for a different lime aftershave once this runs out.
