Protect-A-Bed BugLock Plus Bed Bug Mattress Encasement, Queen

I was getting bit, but never saw any signs of bedbugs. I used this to encase my mattress, along with the same brand of box spring encasement, and did not wake with any more bites. I also used those cups you put under the legs of your bed, but no dead bugs in there. So I am assuming that it was just the start of an infestation, and that now the bugs are trapped in the box spring encasement. That is fine with me. (I recently purchased several pieces of clothing on line that were made in other countries, and opened the packages on my bed so as to try them on, and assume that is where the bugs came from) Such a relief to wake with no bites, and to sleep soundly again, not feeling like things were crawling all over me in the night.

Arrived on time. Need two people to put cover on; seems sturdy and zips on well. Did not realize at first that you need to use the plastic ties to secure the zipper when done - they were wrapped inside and almost didn't see them. Would be better if they were in a colored plastic bag or more clearly marked. Seemed to fit well on mattress.

It ripped so now I have a piece of masking tape over the ripped edge.

So far, so good. It fits well. Will know more when I wash it.

I just took this cover off my bed and the fabric underneath is thin and was ripped unbeknownst to me which isn't good because we have been exposed to bed bugs again so the cover did not do what it was supposed to do. We bought it in 2015 so maybe they improved the design since then. The fabric underneath is so thin I am not sure it could keep bugs out anyways. Do not recommend.

I was very impressed. Easy to install and just the feeling of knowing that they (bugs) can't get out and can't get in my mattress anymore, makes me rest better !. Definitely follow the instructions and stand the mattress up for ease of installation. That is all.
