Best money spent on mobility items my whole journey through surgery!
This knee scooter was a life saver after I broke my ankle and had to have surgery. It's so sturdy, rides smooth, and is easy to get around. Adjustable height seat and handles made it easy to use even when I threw out my back. The brakes are crazy and I love the break lock. I played 18 holes of mini golf going up and down and around hills like it was nothing. Only downside is that prolonged use hurts my knee. The seat is cushy but could be a little thicker. Definitely saved me from having to use crutches or a wheelchair many times. I've even sat on it like a bike when I'm getting tired! Plus...it's really fun to ride around on! Oh and the bag is large and fits of stuff. Definitely would recommend!!

What a GREAT Invention!
I love my new scooter!! I'll be having foot surgery in the next week or so facing 3 months non-weight bearing on that foot. I ordered the ELENKER scooter as soon as I found out. At age 68 I was worried about my impending lack of mobility. The scooter arrived today. It was quick and easy for my husband to put together. We got the proper height for the handlebar and the knee pad, and I've been practicing this afternoon. Here are my impressions so far. The scooter feels sturdy and well designed. I ordered the orange one, so it's pretty too. With a nice bag on the front for carrying things. The handbrake is easy to use. The lock button is an EXCELLENT feature. Pull up to a chair, lock the brakes and sit down in the chair. Then put your foot up on the scooter's knee pad. Super comfortable as a foot rest. (higher than my coffee table, so it's probably better medically too.) The scooter is very maneuverable with a nice turning radius. It works great on our porcelain floors and also in the carpeted bedroom. I watched a man at the surgeon's office glide smoothly up the driveway on his knee scooter and while my husband held open the door, he cruised right into the office. He was smooth. I'm assuming I'll be cruising around on my orange scooter soon, just as smoothly as he did. You can call me FLASH! I would recommend this scooter to anyone!

Great for a month...
Worked great for about a month. Then the handlebars became wobbly. No matter what we tightened, it didn't help. Thankfully we only needed it for another 2 weeks.

Great buy!
I'm a review reader when buying anything. This is the first review I've written. I really like this scooter! I was going to rent one, but the price of this one was only $25 more than the cost of renting, so I bought it. I was nervous, but pleasantly surprised!Pros:It is stable, smooth riding, the breaks and parking break work well, and the cushion is "cushiony" enough without being too squishy to be unsupportive. I didn't realize how important it would be to have something stopping the steering from going to a 90* angle. That is, I didn't realize the importance until my dumb butt put that bottom portion on backwards! Yeah, I fell a few times lol...Don't worry, this happened before my surgery when I was doing a trial run...yeah I'm smart.Cons:The folding feature is kind of a joke. It doesn't really fold enough to be worth the effort. Also, the wheels are durable, but they have no tread or anything. The problem with this is that every little rock or stick can require a little more effort to navigate as opposed to a bike-like tire that would roll right over these objects. That being said, it hasn't really caused a lot of problems for me. I don't use this outside a lot; I mostly use it to get to the car and back from whatever place I happen to be at/going to.‐---‐--------------------------Sometimes you have to do a 20 point turn (exaggerating) in order to get turned around. I 100% think it's worth it though to have the limited steering (see "pros" section). I use pick it up a little and turn the whole thing. It's super easy...although probably not for an older individual.Anyway, great product! I would have given 5/5 but the "fold feature is a joke.

Great Scooter, Great Price!
My scooter arrived today. We got it put together in less than 10 minutes. After a couple quick adjustments I was scooting around my house! It’s very stable and pretty cute! I thought about renting a scooter but buying this one was half the price of 2 months of rental. This will make my healing (from ankle surgery) a lot easier.

Excellent Stability
After borrowing another "amazon favorite" knee scooter from a friend while I waited for mine to arrive, I am very very happy with this scooter! It is far more stable than the previous one I was using and super comfortable on the knee. I am tall and the stability when handle bars and seats are raised is usually compromised. But not with this one. The steering column doesn't wiggle at all. The braking system is great, the padding is just enough, handles are comfortable, and the wheels are very durable. I am able to get from the parking lot, throughout our school building, and all through my house just fine. The bag on the front is actually what originally sold me as I found out quickly that not having one just means more weight on my back (backpack) which in turn puts more weight on my knee. The bag is big enough to fit my mac and my lunch but not to bulky that its in the way. It's a smooth, comfortable ride and the only way Im getting through this achilles tendon rupture/repair which makes me non weight bearing for 12 weeks.

Meh! Underwhelmed
Pretty easy to assemble, except pre-assembly on main post was backwards. Affects only the way the pouch (doesn’t) fits to the front. Very very unstable if turned too sharply and no safety features to prevent it. The hard plastic wheels make it difficult to go from hard floor to carpet. Heavy steel frame. Wouldn’t buy again. But, if I did, upgrade to aluminum/titanium frame, soft rubber all-terrain tires, put a turn stop device to keep wheels from turning axle towards parallel to frame. Not even going to try it outside. Going from sofa to bathroom was scary enough. Hamstring cramps even on that short trip. I’m much more comfy in wheelchair. Husband tried it and commented, “Yikes! Won’t do THAT again.”
