RYOBIR18RW3-0 ONE+ Cordless Ratchet Wrench (Bare Tool), 3/8"

I bought this in addition to my existing impact wrench and drill from ryobi, its very handy for working on cars when putting parts back together.It's a lot quicker than using hand tools, more flexible with where you can get it into vs the impact wrench and without fear of over torqueing/ stripping threads either due to the low max torque.Very controllable speed with the trigger.The adjustable head means you can get it almost everywhere , about 90% of the places you can with hand tools.It's so good, that my friend who's a massive DeWalt fan decided to buy one because dewalt don't make one.Quite expensive, but you get what you pay for.Paid £92, so about double what some companies online are quoting, but no questions over quality so I'm happy with the price paid.

Really amazing tool easy to use very durable and cheap.

Having already purchased a Ryobi One+ Impact, with a 4.0AH battery, this seemed like a good purchase (sharing the battery between the two tools as needed). this little ratchet delivers a good amount of torque for its size and locks up nicely to get a stubborn bolt spinning. The head rotation feature is a real bonus - and actually needed, given the size of the battery (the battery size is about the only downside I can think of).

One of the reasons I started buying Ryobi tools was seeing this (or a previous version of it) featured heavily in an Australian youtube car channel. However it's taken until late 2020 to get this released in the UK.Pros:Rotatable headPlenty of powerIntuitive to useCons:Hampered by needing to fit the One+ battery, rather than a slimline form battery which other brands do for low power requirement tools - if you look at the pictures you'll see the battery jutting forward of the drive head. So for some jobs you'll either need to rotate the head or use the enclosed adaptor.Getting the socket off the drive shaft can be a bit of a pain, possibly due to the socket type I was having to use.It's a 3/8" drive, but all my impact sockets (for R18IW3-0) are 1/2", necessitating using an adaptor (extra length from nut to drive) or buying more sockets, or using whatever 3/8" sockets I've already got. It's a minor gripe but a 1/2" slim profile adaptor would have been a nice inclusion in the box. But don't expect to just interchange between impact wrench and this mid-job without an adaptor.Still, very pleased with it so far, mostly used for driving in 100mm m10 coach screws into timber, which it's done with no complaints at all. Once the house project is done and I can get on to the car project I might update my review but so far so good!

Little bit bulky but works fine, also I’m a Ryobi fan

I bought this for my partners for his birthday. And he loves it. It’s a great bit of kit for the money you pay. I only issue wasn’t it didn’t come with a battery. Which was fine as we had one but would have being better if it came with one as he has to keep swapping with his other ryobi tools. But all in all I would defiantly recommend this product and would buy it again in the future.

Ryobi is always brilliant tools just wish more of the products were available over in the UK

I use this tool to install and disinstall a pontoon bridge at my lakehouse over the summer season - a real one-hand job.I use adapters for different nut sizes - it works perfectly!!
