Buona Chicago Italian Beef Sandwich Kit (16 Pack)

I have been ordering from them since they began shipping (years). Every year they give less product and charge more. They used to give you full sized sandwich french bread and a bag of meat and a container of gravy. Now they give a prepackaged container of beef and gravy. And every year the amount of beef is reduced in the prepackaged container. And theynow give mini rolls for your sandwich. It even says mini roll on the packaging. So your not getting a full sized sandwich like they claim. It's more like a half sandwich. Compared to what you get when you actually go to there establishment. And there charging you four times the price. Dont get me wrong. The quality of the food is outstanding. But that goes out the window when you figure out the price for what you get. This will be our last year purchasing there Beef package.

One jar of hot peppers is not enough, buy extra. This stuff is AMAZING!!!

Grew up in Chicago and now live in Oregon. Best way to enjoy Italian Beef without flying back home.

Buona in Volo,Il just eliminate their 5" Italian beef. Only offering small and large. Large looks like what was previously called (medium) 7".

Is it overpriced like my fellow reviewer said, yeah. Does it change my mind when I had to leave my hometown and move across the country to the west coast, NO. Plain and simple, Buona beef is the best kept secret in Chicago. They use Turano rolls (which you can’t get out here) and the Giardiniera is nice and chunky not all mushed up. The beef is tops, not riddled with fat and gristle like other beef places and it’s perfectly seasoned. Everything arrived perfectly packaged and cooked up like a dream. I miss home but enjoying top notch beefs with the family brings back all the memories. If the price were more accommodating, I’d get these once a month but for now, maybe every other month 😉 Now, go get yourself some!
