Weather told through a story
This is a lovely book about the weather. It is illustrated and reads in a storylike way rather than lists of facts and diagrams but still gets across plenty of information on different types of weather and where they come from. It's perfect for Year R/KS1 readers and also includes some suggestions on weather related activities to follow on from reading. There is a whole set of these books and they would be lovely for a school library.

Depends on thecaudience
It would sort of work for a mderately early reading book. Except that kids would have to struggle through the word atmosphere. It goes through all the types of weather, but not in that much detail. Cheerful illustrations.
