These are great, am really pleased with them.Plentiful and strong, I tried pulling the little gold ball tops off and they wouldn't budge at all, not even a little bit, I then proceeded to bend the metal pin part and could only do so partly with force.Therefore I am confident these won't be accidentally falling apart or ending up being not up to the job.I realised these can be used for more than maps and pin boards. They would be beneficial for anyone with a creative mind, for crafts. In the picture I made a quick flower to demonstrate! Even managed to raise them up in layers to form the centre.There is also in the pic a pound coin for size comparison.The tub is definitely included and sturdy enough to keep these in permanently.So 400? Well I counted them! This is because I believe quality can also be assured by a company's reliability, especially that of description of product when that product wouldn't necessarily be checked, at least not often. So the total was 399 or 400, which was nice to see. They are as described and look the same as the sellers picture.The price? These upon first glance and with all initial considerations, seem expensive but I couldn't help wonder if this was purely because of the quantity, so looked at how reasonable they would seem if there were a more usual amount such as 50, 75 & 100.The price for 50 for instance would be an eighth of the asking price so literally a quarter of the price divided by four again, this meaning every 50 of these works out at little over two pounds and still a nice amount for the money, aswell as being better quality than most, including a very neat & stylish design.The choice with these for me each time now remains to be do I want to buy a few or a lot! Personally I'm happier waiting until I have just a few left and then buying a lot as demonstrated here.There were two that were just the pin heads and no pin, 1 a little bent and 4 or 5 with that non polished dull brass look.The lacklustre of the four or five mentioned may result from our hands, the perspiration, however minute, contains salts which can discolour certain materials, such as coins, for instance one and two pence pieces being a prime example. There are many solutions to regaining shine and preserving shine so would happily purchase these when requiring some more.

These are sturdy push pins with a gold head that's both attractive and easy to see. I'm a bit short sighted and we have cats so if I drop any of the pins I'm using while working on a craft project it's important that I can spot them quickly. I find that it's harder for me to spot dark pins or silver ones but I can see these gold headed pins more clearly.I am pleased with the fact that they are quite strong certainly more robust than the ones we had before, but not too thick. For a lot of the craft projects I need pins for, these are the ideal thickness and strength.

These are very neat little pins but they are strong - I tried to bend them and flick off the top but I couldn't manage it. I wanted them to organise my paints on a cork board (really recommend doing this) and they are just perfect for the job. There are a lot in the tub and I am sure they are great for map marking and holding papers, but as they are such a nice colour and good quality (I didn't realise the head was plastic) I am sure there are lots of crafts you could use them for too.

Good quality little pins, they aren't going to break/bend easily, but they are... little. I find them too small for noticeboard pinning uses and I don't have particularly big fingers. I like a larger head to pins like this, these are very similar to dressmaking ones. That said, if people like smaller pins for their corkboards these do the job. Come in a round clear plastic container, usual AmazonBasics quality and reliability. Just a bit too fiddly for me.

This is a plastic tub containing some dinky, silver- coloured pins that are great for use on cork boards. Note that they come in a larger tub than needed, so you could add other pins to the supply. The plastic tub ships supported inside a specially made cardboard box, which ensures the tub doesn't get damaged en-route and thus the pins all arrive safely. It is difficult to see that they are worth their current rrp however.

Basic pins that do the job. Perfect for maps and pin/notice boards. Pot of 400 pins In a shiny silver finish, very good.
