CLASSIC CAST IRON SQUARE SKILLET PAN

perfect size for a single sandwich. I've warped many a small square teflon coated griddle like this by forgetting to turn the heat down after the first minute or so. No fear of that happening with this cast iron pan. I'd highly recommend this to someone grilling a sandwich for one person.

pan is heavy- to small to hold traditional slices of bread & didn't clean well (even after I followed "seasoning" directions") I had to smoosh the bread onto sides of pan to fit and then the cheese flowed out- creating a mess !

I have many uses for this wonderful pan. Yes, sandwiches are great; but I also use if for frying a small hoecake in it on top of the stove. It is heavy enough to hold the heat well. A real gem.
