close to nature
I loved this supplement as it mimics how birds licks clay in the wild. A little nice natural touch for our caged birds. It is worth mentioning that it can be used only in soft food as mentioned in the directions . Not solely in the finger drawer.

Order for birds
I ordered this for my birds. They seem to not mind it. It is a good amount for the cost. The size is good I don’t find it has a smell. The color is white and it is easy to use you just add some to the food. It is very functional and is a easy way to help the birds

Noticed nothing different
I'm honestly not even sure my birds were eating this stuff. It wasn't in their food dish anymore, and I didn't see it tossed out, but I noticed nothing different after using this for awhile. Didn't seem to hurt, but with no solid results, I can't recommend this product.

Parrots
I keep this on hand to add to my Macaws diet by sprinkling some of it on top of veggies.. These parrots will dig into my plaster walls without it.. Thank you!!

Do your parrot a favor
Parrot care has come a long way since I first owned a parrot 50+ years ago. There has been a lot of research, trial and error, and general interest in keeping our beautiful feathered friends in good health. I bought my present Quaker parrot from a breeder and she had a list of caring and feeding instructions that came with my bird. The Hagen Clay-Cal was on that list and she stressed the importance of keeping in his diet daily. My first parrot was a Mexican Redhead, he lived to be 50 years old, I'm pretty sure he would have lived even longer if I knew what I know now about feeding a parrot properly, and giving him Clay-Cal is a major part of that regimen.
