I bought six. They cast a better light than the high CRI feit electric offerings. I didn’t read any of the reviews and now hope I didn’t waste money on a short-lived bulb. I liked the first six enough to buy another pack. I guess I’ll see if these hold up before buying any more. That said, my initial opinion is quite good - I like them a lot, it’s just a better feel coming off of them.

These are great. They don't have that stupid opaque plastic coating on the bottom half like every single other LED I've ever bought. Nice tone of light (i got the warm white), and they dim perfectly in the two table lamps I put them in, which are fitted with new dimmer switches. They go from full bright to almost imperceptibly low. No humming or flicker. Best I've bought of regular bulbs in the LED line, at this point at least. Only had them in use for a couple days.

The box it was shipped in appeared to be 1/2 of a dozen carton, cut in half, then the individual bulb boxes had a 3-pack cardboard holder. One of the bulbs rattled when shaken and the frost was all scratched up. The other 5 were fine.We kept these and ordered the daylight bulbs for use in the dining room. These warm bulbs will be saved for use elsewhere (even though our dining room is the only place with a dimmer).

Bought these out of desperation, after finding that *everything* sold in the Hardware Store has a giant plastic thing on the base which block all light until just below the halfway point on the bulb. This isn’t great if you’re trying to use this in a glass shade: half the shade will be in shadow. Good job Sylvania for making these like “real” light bulbs. Now, we’ll just have to see how the lifespan is: I’m using these in place where I definitely do not want to have to change them often.

The good: produces nice lighting, without the obvious LED harshness many bulbs have these days.The reality: These are unreliable and suspect. First package had 3 bad bulbs from the start. One was all scratched from the inside, with the filament or whatever it is rattling around freely. Two others looked fine but didn’t work. Amazon sent a replacement package with 6 more, and so far one of them already blew out after one week. It made a crackling sound and went out, leaving a strong, distinctive smell of burnt out electronics. I’m now tempted to send them all back and go to Home Depot to buy something off the shelf instead. I would not buy these again, even for a fraction of the price.

The quality of these bulbs are terrible. Purchased a package of 6 and 3 of the inner frostings are scratched/chipped. The bulb rattles as a result of the chipped paint inside.Reason I bought these is because I purchased an adapter to convert the pronged outlets to standard outlets for my ceiling fan lights. Consequently, it extended the length so that most 2700k and 1000+ lumen bulbs will not fit.So don't buy these unless you are really limited by the bulb size. Also they really need to put the measurements on their product. For those curious, the length is about 4" and width a little over 2.3".
