Of course you can make your own, but why bother. It's 18" long and I cut in two pieces (6" and 12") to make two squeeges for my standard sizes of 6 and 12. If you intend to store it in a hot and humid environment, paint the wood with enamel paint and that will protect it.

Wasn't at all like my others. This has a flat bottom a out an 1/8 thick. It will not work with my screens like my others as it is not angled.

Definitely worth the money for a economical stand point.

They are ok but thin. the handles need to be thicker for comfort. They are about what I expected for the price.
