QuickPack - Metallic Black Gloss

I couldn't wait to write a review about these speakers: after 4 years of reading reviews and enquiries, finally I purchased these modx1 speakers(a pair ) recently , got them last week, I actually set these speakers for atmos effect purpose with the energy take classic 5.1 , using Denon AVR X2200W. They produce crisp and clear sound and deliver good boss too, even at low volume you hear all instruments , I am really amazed by their performance, they dominate the classics a little bit, I am hearing the sounds I never heard before , nice speakers, good looks,quality make, easy set up . If you are planing to by mid range (price wise not quality wise) these speakers should be on the top of your list, you wouldn't go wrong, they are killer speakers. Please keep in mind your AVR plays a key role , blame receiver if they don't sound good , not the speakers. I am happy for the purchase.

I bought these specifically for their total lack of any bass frequencies so I can focus on balances and ffects while mixing. I am very happy with the choice. I also picked them for their shape as they would cause almost no reflections from the main speakers when set on my console. They come with perfect little stands which can be secured with double sided tape or Velcro.They are very bright in the presence area of 5-8kHz but I don't find this to be a problem for the specific application, maybe even a benefit. I am using a Crown D-60 amplifier which seems more than adequate for very-near field use. I can easily match levels to my mains at my SPL range.Very, very happy with this purchase!

I searched for the best speakers for a while… And I finally decided on orbs because they sounded as good if not better than the Bose speakers, and they were local. I can't tell you how happy I am with these speakers and to think I almost went for a sound bar for the convenience of it all. One caveat though… You must have a sub woofer to go along with the speakers or purchase one from orb… Without it you will be disappointed. They have a website which explains.

I bought these speakers from Amazon to replace my rather large Linn speakers with mega cable. While the two speakers are worlds apart in audio world, I can't say enough about the Orb speakers - great sound for the $. I really like the small size as they fit nicely into the media cabinet. Two thumbs up on this buy! Also, when the box arrived without the stands. I called Orb and they sent them out post haste and the phone was answered by a pleasant person to boot. Top notch company that stands behind its product.

Decent. Disappointed the wall mounts are $25 bucks extra for the pair, when all the shipped "mounts" need are two holes drilled and proper screws to mount and you'd have a complete solution, out of box.

My Orb Audio Mod 1's solved my small room TV speaker problem. Clear, crisp sound; minimal space; quality construction, and unintrusive in my dining room decor. I hear every word of dialogue. Great for music, too. I don't need a sub woofer for casual listening. I also own Klipshhorns in my larger music room for really serious listening with maximum impact. Orb Audio Mod 1's meet a specific need perfectly! Highly recommended!
