These are well made and feel quality. I actually bought both the yellow and white set to mix and match. I don't have a dishwasher but they work well in the microwave without getting too hot or crackled lines in them. Cutting the food and using a knife also doesn't leave marks on the plates either. They also appear more elegant because they are a tad thinner like more towards the weight of bone china for reference. If you are one to like really thick heavy plates then these may not be for you, though these plates are still very sturdy and I am not worried about them getting damaged.The bottom ceramic ring that touches the table is unglazed, so it will be a bit rough at first as since have pointed out. The best way to smooth it out is to soak and scrub the ceramic with the rough side of the sponge and it'll smooth out from the wash. The good part about having the ring unglazed is that it won't slide across the table or slip around since it won't be slippery with a paint glaze like some dishes. My one knit pick is that the logo is bland and unappealing but it's on the bottom and won't be seen so I don't care much.

I just love these dishes. I love the detail you can’t really see in a picture. They are beautiful and durable and I didn’t buy these new! I bought a return item and it was perfectly new!

Oh my gosh - I fell in love with this dinnerware set as soon as I unpackaged it. And immediately order an additional set so we would have service for 8. It is beautiful, detailed, and fun. It just makes me happy to see. And my kids love looking for the hidden bees. Love it!

I loved these dishes once I got to actually see them in person and hold them. They were a gift for my sister and she loves them too! They are perfect for everyday use or special occasions. Pfaltzgraff has never let me down. These are stoneware so they have a little weight to them but will last a lifetime if taken care of.

Love this set so much so I bought 4!!!! I have a light theme with honeycomb’s and bees in my super modern home and so on/in an area which is kinda masculine I needed that special touch without doing to much and these did the trick, not only did it bring it to a perfect medium, it accents the rest of the house with just that mild embellishment. When looking I was under the impression these plates had a brass/bronze ring so I added a pic with my brass/bronze/goldish dinner utensils to show the colors on my wood table. But this set couldnt BEE more perfect I'm so in love !

These are so cute. They’re a housewarming present to myself for my first home and first set of dishes. They were packaged compactly and I just love them.

The design of these is very cute, reminiscent of summertime and bees and honey. I love the look of them. I don't love that one already broke after it slipped from my hand in the sink while I was washing it. It was only like 3 inches, but apparently it landed "just right" in order to shatter into about 6 pieces. I am hopeful I can glue the plate back together and salvage it.Generally, I hand wash nice things like these to prolong their lifespan, but I will be putting these in the dishwasher from now on so I don't drop them out of suddsy hands anymore.Aside from my mishap and wondering how it broke from such a short fall into the sink, I still definitely recommend this set.

They are just the right weight. Last dinnerware I had was so heavy.

I loved the design and was very happy at first , but after only a few months they are chipping and there are hairline cracks under the glaze on the dinner plates. It looks awful. they also scratch easily from your flatware.

These are just absolutely beautiful! They are thick, and heavy, and can go in the dishwasher and microwave. The yellow is perfect. The honeycombs and bees are 3D. I love this set so much I bought it a second time! These are the yellow dishes you have been searching for! Enjoy!!!
