SMB Hog/Sow Water Bowl with Push Button

For the first year this worked well. This year the valve has started malfunctioning. It gets stuck in the on position, which allows the water to run continuously. This waterer has flooded the building six separate times in the last month. The flooding has caused a lot of damage to the building. We finally got a different style of waterer in to replace it. I do not recommend using this long term, in a building, or in an outdoor pen without appropriate drainage.

I liked the easy installation.

We just have 10 pigs and this works great. SO happy not to have to carry water or to have to stretch out a hose. Plus it gives them fresh water rather than muddy.

This product met and exceeded my expectations. The pigs find it easy to use. It does better that a nippier waterer in the freezing weather. A tank heater is a must, but the hog water bowl will not freeze up as easily as a nipple. I’ve bought three so far and use them all. Easy to clean and maintain.

to start off it took two emails and a full month to get the product shipped.. when it finally arrived it was not what was pictured. it is a cat food bowl!! no push button, nothing... totallly different from the picture.. i suggest you find a different supplier to get your order prompt and correct.. now i have to send i back pay more shipping and handling both ways and probably wait forever to get the wrong product again.... think ill just take it in the shorts and buy from someone else...... dont do it!!!!!
