Good stuff for the money
I used this wrap and some typar wrap left over from another project to wrap an RV garage that i built(see photos). Personally, i do like the Typar better. It looks and feels more like a true, "semipermiable" fabric. This wrap is more like a less durable version of a blue tarp. Its made by weaving thousands of strings of somewhat tough poly(but not as tough as blue tarp poly) together into large sheets. This wrap is surely effective in shielding your structure from the elements and probably does allow interior moisture to evaporate out through it but it doesnt do these things in the same way that Typar does. As I said; Typar seems to actually be a proper, semipermiable fabric. This wrap works because it is many strands of poly woven tightly together. Tightly enough to block out all but the most driven rains but still allow evaporation out from between the many woven strands. This Prime wrap isnt quite as durable as Typar either. If cut wrong or accidently torn, it will begin to unravel at the edge like a knitted sweater. Its not a huge deal. Just dont pull on the strands and cover the wrap with siding and itll never be a problem. Im just pointing out the differences ive noticed. Finally, despite my criticisms of Prime wrap, I still recommend it very much. Prime wrap costs so much less than Typar that Im willing to overlook a few small issues as long as it does the job. And Prime wrap does do the job.

Don't buy a Kia if you want a BMW
I'm very happy with this product. Truth being told, I find it a little ridiculous that some people are dropping single-star reviews because "it's not as good as Tyvek". Well, no kidding. It's also a lot cheaper. I paid 6.6¢/sqft for this product. At that time, the big-name-brand was 13.3¢.So, if we judge the product for what it is, a bare-bones, no-frills, low-cost alternative, I think it compares well, Also, let's not forget that both the name-brand and this product are moisture-resistant, not waterproof. They're designed to shed bulk water, and both do a good job at this.I've also seen some people complain that this product does not cut well with a utility knife. I agree with this for the most part. Unless the blade is really sharp and the building wrap pulled tight, it tends to just bunch up and fray. However, there is an easy solution: use scissors. Finally, unlike pretty much any other building wrap on the market, this does not have any pre-printed overlap marks. I wish it did.Ultimately, I'm happy with my purchase considering it's intended purpose is to protect a little storage shed I'm building. If I were specing a new home, I'd likely call for the real deal, if for no other reason being that it's easier to install.***My Rating Criteria***Build Quality(47.5%) - 4.0 StarsEfficacy(47.5%) - 5.0 StarsPost-Sale Support(0.0%) - n/aPackaging/Presentation(5.0%) - 5.0 StarsWEIGHTED AVERAGE(100.0%) - 4.5 STARS

The tape is great, but the wrap not so much
I got the tape/wrap bundle as I was wrapping a shed. The wrap itself had snag-like runs in it in spots where air and water could penetrate, and I had to tape up those spots which made me use more tape than should've been necessary. The tape itself is awesome, VERY sticky. It sticks to the wrap and itself very well. The further I got into the roll the stickier the tape got. I would've given it one star because house wrap shouldn't have runs in it, but the tape was great so I gave it two stars for that. Otherwise it's just thin, tarp-like house wrap that has tears in it.

Great product
Great product but I wish Amazon wouldn’t use the post office to deliver. They suck. They said they attempted to deliver two days in a row. They did not. Had to go to post office to pickup. Not cool Amazon. USPS is useless

Awful short for 9 foot
Well I usually roll this out on the outside walls and staple it on. But who ever sells it rolls the wrap out and folds it in half as a 4.5 foot roll, now you have to roll it out unfold it so I can use it this person must have never used house wrap ? What a pain in the axx. If I didn't need it and had been waiting for it I would send it backSold it to me as a 9 foot role not a folded in half 9 foot role

A viable alternative if you’re doing a small addition.
I was going to buy another roll from the home center but their 3x100 roll was about the same price I paid for this one… about 30-bucks… and their 9x150 roll was about 90-bucks but it was much than I needed for a small addition. I have no complaints about this and, with a sharp blade, it cuts easily and a 3-foot width makes it much easier to handle alone. Since the cost of this is about one third that of the big role and you get exactly one third the amount so the pricing is fair. I know if I bought the larger roll the leftover would lay in my shed for years so, for a 12x20 addition with only two exterior sides this was just want I needed. I’ve used others over the years and most tend to be stringy because they are a woven fabric so it’s pretty much the nature of the beast and I always use a new blade in my knife and rarely is there ever a problem. I’m not sure what, if any, UV protection this has but I didn’t leave it exposed for long and it is a bit thinner than others but it meets the Building Code requirements. I covered it with vinyl siding and will hopefully never see it again and expect it to do what it should.
