Product Description We are proud to announce the release of Don Peake's score from the the classic 1980s television series, Knight Rider. Knight Rider, as the voice over will tell you before each and every episode, was ""a shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who did not exist"". For four seasons we saw crime fighter Michael Knight and his fully loaded car, K.I.T.T., fight bad guys. The show made David Hasselhoff a worldwide star while Knight Rider lives on in reruns and on DVD. Without question, composer Don Peake worked on one of the more memorable television series of the 80s. Along with his work on Knight Rider, he has composed music for television, film (The Hills Have Eyes, Breakin', Modern Love) and pop music as a guitarist in the Ray Charles Orchestra, Jan And Dean, Mamas And The Papas, Sonny And Cher and Hal Blaine's famed Wrecking Crew. Don played guitar on Marvin Gaye's classic, Let's Get It On as well as with other Motown greats. You've probably heard his guitar work on many of John Lennon's Phil Spector produced releases. His music for Knight Rider is a must own for any fan who collects or enjoys music from one of the great eras for television scores. About the Artist Don Peake is a multi-talented musician who has worked as a guitarist, arranger, record producer, and film music composer. Peake has composed the music for two Academy Award winning live action short films, "In The Region Of Ice", and "Violet". He also scored the short subject "Leon's Case", which won the Golden Hugo Award at the Chicago Film Festival. His film scores include Wes Craven's cult classic "The Hills Have Eyes", "Walk Proud" , "Moving Violation", "Modern Love", and "Breakin'" which earned him a Platinum Album. Peake has scored seven movies for television including "Dalton, Code Of Vengeance" and it's sequel, and he has composed music for several pilots including "My Two Dads". Don spent three and a half years scoring the popular Universal Television series "Knight Rider". Don Peake served on the Board of Directors of the Society of Composers and Lyricists and has judged the "Arranging Category" for the Grammys for the last 3 years. He is a member of the Music Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, as well as the Television Academy. See more

I love it!
I really enjoy listening to this soundtrack, especially in the car. At some points it really gives me the feeling like I'm in the middle of a Knight Rider Episode. At some points it's also hilarious, when you drive up to a drive-thru counter window with the soundtrack blasting and people at the counter are just like: "Isn't that Knight Rider?"I like the "Halloween Knight" Part the best, but the others are still awesome too. That's a kind of soundtrack I thought I'd never find. The theme song is on a lot of TV Soundtrack-Compilations, but this background music from the episodes is just terrific and really hard to find.I really like it very much and I can recommend it to other Knight Rider Fans who always were looking for the background music from the episodes rather than the theme song. I'm glad I bought it and I'd definitely do it again, if I didn't already own it!

Don Peake rocks!!!!! Knight Rider continues!!!!!
I am a huge Knight Rider fan and had all of the series scores except this set. This cd contains the music from several key episodes that were missing from my collection. Excellent!!!!! I love Mr. Peake's score and I am so glad these pieces are available.

oh yeah
i didnt know this was out until i looked on amazon and there it was i now have both soundtracks i really enjoy.the first soundtrack cd you cant get anymore on cd this one was released on 10th March 2014
