Ites: An Illustrated Guide to the People in the Book of Mormon

We love this book! We use it as a "character review" and it helps our family understand the characters of the Book of Mormon better. It's also excellent for pointing out what we can learn from each character, i.e. Sam is older than Nephi but still follows him, as an example of humility. Enos is an example of seeking your own witness and paying the price for your own testimony. I also really like the timeline at the beginning of the book that illustrates how the people of Zarahemla left Jerusalam around the same time as Lehi's family, and when the Jaredite record takes place, and when the Nephites split into two groups. It is very well-done and easy to understand and remember. We'll probably want the Bible Ites version when we finish exploring this one.

This book is AMAZING!!! I wish the missionaries could just give these out to every new member. lol It would have been really helpful to remember characters and stories when I joined the church when I was 18. The graphics are great and engaging, the FHE activity ideas are a wonderful addition to have since I somewhat lack imagination in that department and it's always best to help kids (and adults) remember learning if there is an activity associated with it.

I love this book! And so do my kids. The illustrations are amazing and I know it has already had an impact on my kids. We are taught to apply the BOM to our lives and it helps my kids do this through exploring the character and choices of the great and the terrible people in the scriptures. Excellent FHE!! We will be giving these out as gifts for Christmas.

This is really what I've been looking for, for my kids... heck it has even helped straighten out some of the characters myself ha ha. It is pretty, easy for the kids to read, and even FHE ideas.

This is a fantastic book! It is great for nightly scripture study and for Family Home Evening where we have a lesson, activity and treat as we discuss various scripture stories. I would highly recommend this book!

This is perfect for studying the Book of Mormon with young kids and teaching a principle with each lesson. It also had fun activities to do with the topic.

excellent pour faire le point sur les personnages du livre de Mormon. classés plus ou moins par ordre chronologique, enfin d'apparition dans le BOM.textes destinés à un jeune public * mai très bien pour un adulte un peu confus comme moi qui me suit fait baptiser tardivement. des idées de soirées familiales un peu à américaines à mon goût mais parfaites si vous avez la chance d'avoir une famille totalement convertie dans laquelle chacun s'engagera à faire un tâche....* mais le livre est en anglais bien sur..
