Sea Life Mazes (Dover Little Activity Books: Sea Life)

has some limitations but good value for money
Let me start with by saying that I have purchased all the books from this series (Dover Little activity books) They come in four different contexts1-Mazes ( including this book)2-Spot the difference between two pictures3-Connect the numbered dots to make a figure.4 Finding the hidden pictureI agree most of the criticisms from other reviewers: Yes, these books are small (less than 6 inches length), difficult to keep open and are black and white. Compared to more expensive maze books it is a little less appealing and due to lack of colors and contrast sometimes my son gets puzzled to distinguish the open paths from the cul-de-sacs. But it is the point of solving a maze, right? My son goes through a book of 60 pages like this within a few hours and he likes spending time with this a lot. Additionally, the mazes are a mixture of different designs and difficulties and therefore is not a repetition of the same thing at all. I see that my son is improving his skills of solving the maze so I think these basic books do the job they are supposed to do well. There are a bunch of maze books from these series and basically they are pretty similar in terms of context but all that varies is the objects portrayed. Sometimes it is a mixture of sea animals sometimes bugs etc.You may, just like me, think that paying a lot for a book that entertains a kid for only a couple of hours is not worth. If so, go buy these books, you won't regret...

A Pocket-size Book for on-the-go with kids
Smaller than I anticipated, but great for the purse, pocket, diaper bag or a kid's backpack when traveling with a child or going to a doctor's office or any other place they'll need to sit for awhile. Most children like to work mazes and mine enjoy working on these. We'd had other Dover books for the kids and I just assumed these would be the same, I didn't read the size. under product description. These are about 4 inches wide and not quite 7 inches tall. Dover makes a number of little books and I've purchased several of different ones for the grandkids as stocking stuffers, Easter surprises and "just because" gifts- There wasn't one they didn't enjoy. A bit expensive for the small size-compared to other items I've purchased.

It is what it says it is...
I can't argue, for $1.00. My son loves mazes and he got a book full of them. He absolutely adored the book! So, on one side, if your child likes mazes, these little books are the way to go. Me? I found them to be pretty much completely simplistic, page after page of random lines and barely any pictures or stimulation (my son, probably like every 5 year old, loses his focus quickly). But again, for $1.00, if your child likes mazes, the Dover Little Activity Books (Mazes -- They have a dinosaur one, and one other I believe) are where it's at!

Great Easter basket addition!
Purchased for a 5 year old's Easter basket. She loves mazes and activity books, so this should be a big hit! It is smaller than a coloring book, but I read the product description prior to purchasing and knew what I was ordering. Great product!

BrookeBooks online purchase
This little book of mazes is only a few inches big so I thought well? Hmmm...It might get lost during shipping which costs more than most any of the books! But it didn't! It was the first book of three that I ordered they came the fastest and it was a tiny little thing that I worried I would never see. Thanks BrookeBooks you guys did a great job, Keep up the good work!Thank You,Monica, Chicago, IL Sea Life Mazes (Dover Little Activity Books)

A Good "Little" Book of Mazes
Keep in mind this is a little book like 4 x 6 inches not a full 8 x 10 book. It was just right though. They were not too complex for my 4 y/o grandson.

My six year old son loves these books!
My six year old son loves these books and really liked this one in particular because of the size. This is a smaller, 60+ page book, that's the perfect size for a purse or on long car trips. Highly recommended!

Smaller than I thought it would be
These are nice quality and the mazes are a good challenge for my six year old without being too hard as to be frustrating. These were definitely not the size you might imagine an activity book would be, but I almost feel like they are easier to pack because they are smaller.

Good Value
A fun little book for children. The size of a postcard. All the mazes are similar, like the one on the front cover. A good present if the price is right.

Good fun
This was a christmas present for a young neighbour, it is something they can use time and again, weasy to take in the car.

Good
Pretty small but does state that in the description they are fairly complicated so they are more geared toward a 5/6year old I'd say I bought them for my four-year-old and they are little bit complicated for him yet but will be a good challenge for him later on. It's a handy size to keep in your vehicle for something for your kids to do and keep them off their iPad

Good price but all puzzles are the same & smal
Small and all the puzzles are the same. I quickly bought it for my daughter who loves mazes it was the right price so I didn’t read the description. But my daughter doesn’t like it. Every puzzle is exactly like the one on the front EXACTLY

So small
I thought the book would be a bit larger at least.. It's sooo tiny.. It's just a stocking stuffer for my son cause he loves doing these but I could got a larger booklet for him at my local dollarstore
