Great lights, perfect for boat on duck hunts. Adhesion was decent but I did cake on clear silicone over the strips and it’s perfect. Get a lot of compliments, and people don’t believe when I tell them the price.

I am an amateur astronomer and attend star parties (where a large group gathers to observe together), some far from home. One requirement after dark is that no white light be visible outside. I bought these red led strip lights for the inside of my travel trailer. I adhered them to the ceiling per instructions after wiping down the ceiling with isopropyl alcohol to make sure it was clean. They stuck well initially, but began drooping within a day. The rest of the week was spent readhering them to the ceiling several times a day. I like the way they work, especially with the dimmer I bought to use with them. If they were on a wall or on top of a horizontal surface they probably would stick better. But for me, not so much.

No instructions included, but easy to find advise on Youtube. The waterproof silicone coating is easy to peel back and trim off where you need to solder wires to connect another length.

i love that the lights have the round rubber or silicon covering for better protection. only reason i rated these at a 4 for adhesion was because i had to fight to get it to stick but i think it was my fault i was trying to install them on a cooler surface i ended up taking a torch and warming the aluminum boat rail with it and then they stuck like velcro pretty decent adhesion. everyone i showed them to were impressed super easy to wire up i ended up getting two 16 foot rolls and bought separate clips to wire together which i also had to shave the silicone covering off to get to work correctly where the connectors went but not a problem. i used these to light up the inside of my 16ft aluminum duck boat and it made it awesome to see the floor and everything inside i run one down each side and had enough to run a piece across the back seat to make the rear battery and gas tank area visible really honestly makes the boat look pretty sweet too in the earlymornings. really handy to flip the toggle switch on to load stuff in the boat as well or unload. great item really glad i purchased these time will tell though how long they will stick in the harsh conditions of duck hunting so far so good.

Last budget ones lasted 4yrs. These are plenty bright for the camper. For the money, I’ll be happy if I get 3-4 yrs out of them.

Loved lights. I needed to add some color to the background of Chapel. I used red electrical tape to tape to carpet. Is to roll back in case.

I used these to make submersible fishing lights. They came out nice and bright. My only problem occurred in connecting up to the necessarily small leads, but that’s not a fault of the lights.

I used these for Christmas lights and where I used them I didn't require the adhesive back so I can't say how they adhere. Overall so far they are great for Christmas lights.

No way to join them together or plug them in

Junk..After about 4 weeks installed outside a vehicle at temperatures of -7C. Lights started flickering.Don’t buy.
