Moxibustion Beginner Set

Excellent product. Very high quality mugwort without fillers like straw or dirt. Burns nicely and doesn’t ash out and fall apart easily. This set is great and comes with everything you need including directions and recommended placement of burner box. I use it for the neck, belly, back and hard to reach areas without secondary help. I also use high quality peel-off and stick cones for specific acupuncture points in addition to this set. The cones generally last 10-13 minutes. The moxa rolls in this set generally burn twice the time for about 25 mins or more. Keep in mind the smoke gives off a strong scent and you should use adequate ventilation. The smoke truly has magical qualities whether you subscribe to TCM or not. Be careful of the bare metal from the burner box. I generally leave it in the heat preservation bag for an extra few minutes even after all the moxa has burned up. It still gives off a decent amount of warmth.

This is my first time to use moxa and this product is great. I have arthritis in my hands, shoulders and neck. I am able to easily treat each area. I make sure to use room that is well ventilated. I can really feel a big difference in my joints and increased blood flow.

It doesn't keep the smoke very good, and since the plastic top don't help with the heat... waste of time and money

I love the heat soothing my whole body during the treatment. Since it’s a Chinese herbal medical treatment, I don’t see an immediate result at first. However, after several weeks of consistent treatments, it cure my crumps during period. I would definitely recommend to women who suffer crumps every month. It’s very easy to use, I can do the treatment by myself without help.
