Stay calm :)
Instructions are not very clear so please do not get frustrated-stay calm! Hint: The front with the space for a handle needs to be “flipped” with the piece that does not have a handle. Holes for lift parts should be CLOSE to the handle front piece- if not the table will not open easily or will not close.Edit: I added pictures with the instructions as well as my set up of the table to help. I circled in red what holes I mean that should be towards the hole for the hand to be able to lift the top.Edit 2: after being in contact with the seller they offered a refund and said that I may keep the product. As I stated to the sellers I enjoy the table just found that the instructions were not very clear. They said that they would pass my feedback on to the development department so I am hopeful others do not have this problem in the future.

Sturdy, petite, as described but take your time assembling
I like this table. It's definitely petite, sturdy and stylish. Packaging is well done. I like that all the parts were labeled with letters that matched instructions. If you're accustomed to putting things together, and figuring out diagrams easily, it may take 1 hour to assemble. It took me 2.5 hours. I wasn't in a hurry. I laid every part out to ensure I had everything I needed, including hand tools. I also read directions multiple times as they are not the clearest at first. Not bad directions, you just have to take a deep breath, clear your mind and match the instructions with diagrams and parts. Mine had everything, except it was missing 1 small bolt that locks in the part/hinges for the lift top. Thankfully I had a spare one. You definitely will need another person to help in the last step when screwing the lift top. It's heavy and cumbersome for one person. Overall, it's a nice little table. I want to be able to move mine around easily, so I purchased 4 stem caster swivel wheels to install. Overall, I'm satisfied. My puppy helped. He was great company. Was pooped after all the work. Overall, he approves too. 🙂

Small, Beautiful, and Sturdy!
The table has pretty color! It is also pretty sturdy considering my desktop is so big! I love how they use gas struts system so it is sturdy and smooth when lifting it up. The only thing to keep in mind is that you will need a hand to put the top piece together.. because it is heavy someone would need to hold it while you screw it. Also there is a little gap when it’s closed, but I wouldn’t mind at all. It’s doing its job in a very affordable price!!

Love it!
Great little coffee table! We just got it yesterday. It is small. Be sure to check your dimensions, but perfect for our small space. Will update if we have any issues.Update:1 week in and no regrets. Sturdy. Cute. We’ve used and closed lift top frequently. Totally in love with this inexpensive little coffee table.

Things to know before you build!
The main thing I wish I knew beforehand was that I needed a short screwdriver. Note in the picture the clearance you have is less than 8 inches. My ratcheting screwdriver is longer than this. I was able to get up until the part where you install the top until I had to go out and buy a stubbier screwdriver.I was able to build this without the help of another person, but if you have someone else to help you, that will probably be better (and safer). The trickiest part of assembly with only one person will be screwing the top piece and lift mechanism into the base. I managed to do it by resting the lip on a chair so that it would be the correct height.Otherwise, build wasn't very difficult if you are used to assembling furniture. It's just a little awkward in parts. Mine did not come with any extra hardware, so be sure not to lose or break any pieces. End result looks nice for the money, and seems surprisingly sturdy!

Unclear directions
The directions are unclear and I had to disassemble this table three times before I got it right. I love building kit furniture, it's my jam, I'm great at following directions... But the directions that came with the table show the holes for the hydraulic lift in the wrong area. So when I initially put it together, it shows the holes in the back, but they should be in the front. I knew something was wrong when the unfinished part of the wood was mismatched, but I was following the directions so hard I didn't notice until I'd already gotten the main structure together. I had to look at other peoples pictures of where the hydraulics sat before I could get the whole thing built correctly. What a pain.Anyway, I got it together. I'm a little disappointed in the legs: they look REALLY cheap. It's just, like. Paper with wood grain printed on it. It would have been impossible to put the top of the table together without help: you need a short handled screwdriver, and a lot of patience and elbow grease while someone holds the table up above while you screw into the lift down below. Also, the shelf that goes into the side takes a bit of finagling to get it to fit in. I ended up scratching the side as I was trying to fit it, it's so tight a fit.It looks good put together. One side of the hydraulic is a little quicker than the other, so you have to be careful and make sure you're holding both corners tightly when opening and closing. The color of the "wood" is darker than the picture, and it's also vinyl. Maybe it says so in the description, but I thought it was going to look a little more like wood than it actually does, which is a star off for me, personally. The picture /=/ reality. But despite all these complaints, I like the finished product compared to what I had before. I love mid-century style, I like that it has storage (even though it's smaller than I expected), and the table lift IS actually quite sturdy.
