Will recommend this Scrub
After a very long time, my search for a scrub that is sustainable, vegan, suitable for sensitive skin ends here. After a good amount of time I am writing a review and giving a product a full 5 stars. The variant reviewed here is "Spearmint & Eucalyptus". This product claims to provide you with a soft exfoliation, contains spearmint and eucalyptus oils to render a soothing & uplifting experience similar to aromatherapy. The product also claims to be free of harsh chemicals, sulphates and the dreaded PLASTIC MICRO-BEADS!!!Here goes my review:* Quantity/Price: You get a 200 ml of huge tube (just like Bath & Body Works) at 212/- Rs if its on sale. I have purchased many scrubs over years and I can say that quantity at this price, even when it is not on sale is great.* Packaging: It is a huge tube, and has a sturdy flip-open cap which once properly secured, the product won't come out or leak.* Texture: OK! We have to talk about this, when you open the tube and squeeze out the product, you get a faint light green thick gel that is saturated with small sugar particles. When you spread it on skin you can actually feel them and as you will work the gel out on your skin they will start to melt due to heat of your skin. The size of sugar particles is small, and if you are using it on sensitive, I would suggest you to first rub it in between your palms to make them smaller and then work on facial skin. Normal skinned people can use the product straight out of tube however, I would suggest to use a gentle pressure in the starting. I am loving the fact that Joy decided to use sugar as a scrubbing agent (it is also mentioned as Sucrose in ingredient list should you wish to check, and I also checked with the team on their Instagram account). Sugar is a natural ingredient that is sustainable with zero negative effects on marine ecosystem and that it benefits and moisturizes the skin as well. Many brands such as Dove, Palmolive, CGG, Nivea etc. are still using plastic micro-beads in their bath and body products as if there was less plastic pollution out there. The initiative from an Indian brand to step-up and choose to manufacture conscious product is appreciable.* Fragrance: Joy produces nice and moderately smelling products, and here comes this scrub which has a faint minty-herby-sweet smell that is not at all overpowering, it stays with you while you are using it but goes away when you wash it. People are now becoming aware of fragrance in their skincare product, not that it is bad but some people cannot stand burst of fragrance in their products. This product will surely suit sensitive noses.* Efficacy of scrub: It is a physical exfoliation method that uses sugar particle to scrub off the dead-skin cells and stimulate skin to produce new skin cells. The scrub does what it is supposed to do, leaves skin smoother but please understand that the product also focuses on having an uplifting experience which the product also does. You can also use this scrub on body, especially feet, knee and elbow and it would be equally effective.I am glad to use an Indian brand that is offering a sustainable and effective scrub at a good price which is affordable and do hope that many brands follow its lead to product sustainable products for Indian consumers. Also, the consumers should read the ingredient list and be more aware how their purchase can affect the environment and whether they are making a conscious choice.

Not satisfying and soothing as predicted
The thing came with no seal and the consistency was so thin..I never actually expected that I would hate purchasing it...the granules were like too small and with the bizzare consistency it resulted to be more annoying as well as the smell made me feel weird and no soothing... But it was quite moisturizing, but I feel still it's not that good

It is huge 😍
The media could not be loaded. This is by far the most cute and affordable body scrub💕💕💕💕.. Granules are fine not too harsh like apricot.. to scrub away dead skin..Deducting one point because it's smells like balm and minty + It has mild scent.. Wont irritate anyone. Those who dony like minty smell.. Can go for chocolate variant.I can use it on face as well but that too once in a month.. Coz granules are made for your body

Amazing Product
To begin with I really like the packaging of the product the pink colour is beautiful and extremely soothing. The product has eucalyptus oil in it and when you apply it on the skin it first feels warm and then leaves the skin extremely soothed and gives a very relaxing effect. I usually get a lot of breakout on my skin as it is very sensitive but I didn't get any after using this.Thumbs up for this

Its not worth buying
On rubbing it get hot and has strong fragrance of eucalyptus oil. Granules are soft but i don't think the remove dead cells.dong find it effective and as the name suggests stress relief..it doesn't.

Worth the claims
This product claims to relieve stress and uplift your mood , I must say it definitely does. The fragrance and the whole joy of using this product made me feel that my mood was in a good space and it does exfoliate as well. Really a good investment
