SCHMIDT4 Pack - Blue 888 Medium Rollerball Refill

Received the Bond & Regent pen as a gift and love it!! However, I actually prefer blue ink & will use until the black ink cartridge is needed to be replaced (with blue).

The ink filler is top-notch with quick-drying ink, it does not smear, smudge or spread when it comes into contact with another surface. It remains clean and doesn't leave marks or streaks.

Good replacements

This is a terrible refill. First of all, it's not very smooth - the cheap BIC ballpoint pens write smoother than this. I'd be willing to put up with it since I would be able to use my favorite pen with it, but then the ink became splotchy after writing just 5 pages! Wasted time and wasted money.

The Schmidt 888 is the standard for rollerball refills. Made in Germany it is a quality long-lasting refill. I have used it in the past (purchased at a local stationery store) and am pleased with the prompt service on Amazon. Buy this one for your rollerball pen and don't be tempted by cheap copies made elsewhere. The Schmidt 888 is worth it.

I am very glad to find these refills online. I work from home most of the time, and these cartridges are not easy to find unless I go to a specialty pen shop in the city.

They worked very well at first, but then they started to leak and smeared badly. I wouldn’t buy them again.
