This comb is amazing. It helps my curly hair so much with not having frizz or static. I love it, bought once but dropped (from a big height) so it broke and then I bought another right away. Have been using it for more than a year. Easy to clean and comfortable for holding and scalp.

Love this comb! I chose it because it was all one solid piece of wood and I'm very glad I did. It's so much nicer than having something pieced together. It does have a sandalwood scent, but it smells very natural and not perfum-ey. I am sensitive to that sort of thing and only use my own handmade skincare products made with essential oils. I've had it for about 8 months and it still has the sandalwood smell (though, not as strong as it was). I like that it came with a velvet bag to protect it which I use when I travel, but I'm not particularly fond of the bright red color of the bag.This is my first wood comb and I have really enjoyed using it. I bought it because I wanted to stop using shampoo on my hair and just wash with water. The wood comb works great for removing oil build-up from my hair and is easy to clean with some paper towel since the teeth are wide. It took me probably 6 months before my hair balanced out and I felt comfortable with how it looked most of the time, but I am so glad I stuck with it and can proudly say I haven't used anything on my hair in 8 months (aside from the occasional apple cider vinegar rinse which I've done 4-5 times total) and it's looking great and not oily at all thanks to this comb. I bought a boars hair brush at the same time which was helpful at first, but I ended up giving it to my mom because it was too much of a pain to clean compared to the comb and the comb does just as good of a job at removing oils with the right technique.

I was honestly surprised by just how much I like this comb. The wood is smooth and has a nice weight to it. It feels amazing when I comb my hair with it. I like the comb so much that I ordered a second one as well as another wooden comb by Myhsmooth.

Very smooth teeth and handle and it has what I assume is the scent of green sandalwood which is a mixture of fruity and oily at the same time. Hard to explain but smells nice. For those who might not enjoy the scent as much, it's not so strong that it will stick in your hair. The wide tooth style isn't meant for completely softening the hair. If you want that, then get a brush with bristles. But with that being said, it's good for your hair as it distributes the natural oils in your evenly, it's static free, gentle on the scalp, and is meant for simply detangling. Don't comb your hair immediately after showering. Preferably you dry your hair a bit first to preserve the quality of the comb as long as possible.

Expected better, since there were good reviews, pulled a lot of hair out,the first time I used it.

Smooth, lightly scented, and well made. My only complaint is the length of the handle. In the picture, it looked longer.

It was OK at first, but the first time I dropped it, the handle broke off along with the first couple teeth.

After a mission to take better care of my hair I learned the benefits of a wide tooth comb vs a brush. Then I learned how much better a wood comb is vs a plastic one. My hair didn't come out as much as it had been when I was using a brush and feels MUCH better on my scalp than the plastic wide tooth comb. I don't notice the "smell" everyone commented about but that's ok I can feel the difference already with using this comb (less static, smoother, softer and less tangled). Might buy a few more for the office and car. Good sturdy product.
