I couldn't find the Cricut brand for my Joy so I thought I would take a risk with these and was glad they worked. Just the right grip and very similar to the Cricut brand. I would recommend the ones I bought highly.

Rips off vinyl backing, might work with HTV
I got these so my kids could have their own mats and not fight over using mine. However, these are so sticky that they rip off the backing on the vinyl and sometimes ruin the vinyl image themselves. Maybe they will work well with HTV but I have not tried it yet.
