Great
This is a nice scaler and is well built. Definitely will recommend to other friends in the mechanic industry

Good needle scaler for small stuff. Doesn't hit too hard
Good price for what you get. Its nice, small, easy to move around, and sturdier built than I would have expected for the price. Does not hit super hard like the IR one but it's better for smaller areas. I use mine primarily off of my service truck which is unregulated at 160psi and this is still pretty weak for most things but it definitely won't be folding your welds over creating inclusions. It knocks off slag with ease and dirt pretty well. Where it really seems to shine in my opinion is cleaning out hardware and bucket teeth for heavy equipment. I like that it's one handed in stead of two like the IR one so I use it regularly (just about every day for the last few months). I'd definitely recommend it.

Nice tool
I’ve used harbor freight type needle scalers before this. I never knew what I was missing. Quality tool. I own several Air cat tools. Pleased with all of them.

Needles
Product itself is fine, needles in it are junk

Worth it
Bought a $40 one first and it broke 2 hrs in. That was a mistake. Bought this Aircat b/c I'm impressed with their 1150 impact I have. One problem is finding 5" needles. These fit: Ingersoll Rand Part Number NS11-22-19Aircat customer support is bad. Asked them where I can get 5" replacement needles and their 1 sentence response said to contact an Aircat dealer. I live in central PA and the nearest dealer is in Ohio. I was able to cross reference a part number tho.Overall - Aircat makes great air tools. Well worth the extra 100-200% cost over the cheap chineese stuff because they last.Pictures: Red is the rusty crusty before picture, then with only the needle scaler / no wire wheel / pure needle scaler work, gray is after I painted it.

Excellent
I should have bought this years ago. Easily removes rust in hard to reach areas. Very happy

Get good replacement needles when you buy this!
The needle scaler works well, but the needles are the worst I have ever used! I was a heavy truck mechanic, and a needle scaler was used a lot for brake drums, rotors and framework. I used the new Aircat to clean the hardened grass on a lawnmower deck. The needle scaler works well, but again the needles are a very poor quality so the scaler runs much longer. Do the math; longer run time = short life of scaler!
