I could give this zero stars but that's not an option. In their favor the 3 times I actually used the lights (switched them on at night after I installed them over the period of 10 days) they were bright albeit difficult to anchor and aim. But after those 3 times I was not able to get them to work again. The solar panel did get some overhead moisture from a sprinkler but any solar feature has to be weather proof to survive. I did get in touch with the seller and they suggested it was my fault for not setting it up properly. I explained and they did not reply. I guess they were waiting out the return window because I have been so busy with my pond and koi and work and life that I didn't start the return process but rather was waiting for the company to make a suggestion. So I am stuck with these that really could be good but weren't after less than 10 days. If you decide to try them just be aware of the return window.

This product is JUNK ......JUNK....JUNK.....says it's waterproof but it's not ....I even took it apart and sealed it with waterproof sealer and water still got into it. I bought this a year ago and have tested it and this is my review . The brightness on the lights is determined by the amount of sunlight it gets during the day which is normal of solar powered! I wouldn't buy this again or any product like this on Amazon ! Looked like it was well made but CHEAP at the same time on material kinda like they cut corners where they could of made it water proof but didn't! Waste of money .....get the plug in with electric instead don't go the cheap route because you'll end up spending the same amount on a couple of these to be replaced compared to an electric set.

The 3 lights are direct wired together with about 44" separation per light.The last light goes to the solar panel with about a 120" cord.The panel connector is a screw type waterproof connector (only water resistant is my guess) on a short pig-tail.These is an extension available... search Amazon for : Lewisia Solar Extension Cable 10 Feet Extension CordThis setup allows for all types of modding if your into tinkering and soldering ...as the module on the back of the panel has lots of extra space to add ... perhap a second battery.I like to mod stuff ...and I was only getting about 5-6 hrs of light each night.So I cut the last light off the line, now the remaining 2 lights last about 7-9 hrs each night.

The manufacturer and seller should NOT say these are submersible and for outdoor ponds. See photo for how they look after just two weeks in my pond. Junk. I've owned many of these sets over the years made by other manufacturers and they last 1-2 years with no problem. This particular manufacturer apparently forgot to waterproof/seal the lights. The first defective light only lasted 3 days (now rusty, see photo). Second one stopped working a couple of days ago. Tonight the 3rd is showing signs of moisture inside the casing. JUNK.

Update to previous review I was directly contacted by seller and they expressed concern about my unsatisfaction with their product, and offered a refund or replacement lights. I opted for replacement lights and I received the lights very fast. I am very pleased with the lights in comparing these lights with the previous ones it appears that the seals are a bit stronger overall I am pleased previous post these lights provided a very nice accent to my patio pond...until they just stopped working after 2 months, not worth the money...I'm very disappointed in this purchase

I loves this set of projection solar lights so far. My house is a connected townhouse and with awning on the entrance. Every night before I purchased the solar light set, I used to turn the entrance light on to light up the area. With these projection lights, my entrance looked artistically brighter and not dark any more. Plus, I do not have electric bill any more ! The solar panel was pretty effective, a half day morning direct sun shine could juicy these three lights averagely about 6 to 7 hours.

Second set I bought. They light up 4 X 8 foot sign at night very well. First set went several years before the cord between the solar panel and light was severed by a careless person weedwhacking. Glad it was still available. New ones are just as good! RECOMMEND

So far, I love these. My only complaint - and it's small- is that the cord length between lights is shorter than I would like. The color (white) and brightness are perfect for my needs, however, so I otherwise am very happy with this set of lights. Also, the length of cord between the solar pane and the set of lights is more than adequate. A single spotlight I bought from this same manufacturer a bout 1.5 years ago has held up well, with the only problem being the panel has become discolored and so does not allow the light to charge as well as it used to. But, I live in a city so the culprit is probably pollution or dirty rain degrading the surface over time.
