100% Silicone Clear Edge Protector Baby Proofing Furniture Guard, 6FT

I have a beige sintered stone dining table and applied these guards to create a buffer between the table edge and my PU leather chairs, since the part of the chairs that comes in contact with the table was starting to show slight damage.I really like how discreet the guards are; they’re practically invisible and fit very nicely. I applied them underneath the edge and slightly along the sides, which is where the chairs tend to rub against the table. They were very easy to install and adhered well.So far, I’m very pleased with how they look and fit. Time will tell how well they hold up, but they seem like a great solution!

I just had my kitchen and bathroom cabinets and countertops remodeled, and I have several places where the cabinets are hitting the adjacent area and causing damage to themselves without this in place. It's not the most glamorous solution, but I don't really notice the little bits any more. I cut this up and put small "bumpers" in areas where the cabinet handles would smack into wood on the opened side, and also on the overhead vent that was getting hit by the corner cabinet door when it was opened all the way. It is clear-ish silicon, so I expect it to be able to stand the heat from cooking for quite some time. Hopefully the adhesive will keep it stuck where I put it and not melt if I get over-enthusiastic with the burners going.It has worked like a charm, and I don't wince when I open my cabinets and hear the staccato "bang" of metal hitting wood. Now I hear a muffled "thump" and know that I won't be denting or scratching up my cabinets. I also used it in my master bath where one cabinet is next to an adjacent entry door for the toilet area. It will probably get noticed pretty easily by someone coming in and looking around, but I prefer functional over "super-pretty". It thick enough to provide a good cushion, which is what I wanted.It's easy to cut and the adhesive seems to be pretty good, too. I haven't had any problems with the bits I've stuck up falling off. I'll test later if I have a problem getting them back OFF again from the wood after they've been adhered for a while. Hopefully not.

I didn’t buy this to protect my children; they’re older now. I bought this to protect my new leather office chair from the sharp edge of my standing desk. I appreciate how flexible it is, which was ideal for the rounded corners of my desk. And it’s really easy to cut. I used a pair of cheap kitchen shears because I was expecting more resistance, but they cut through like butter.That being said, I have baby-proofed edges when my kids were younger, and while this is a bit of overkill for my use case, it’s good for adding some significant protection from a baby falling into a table. It’ll still hurt of course, but the goal of baby-proofing is to prevent injury, not guarantee comfort.The only downside I see is that because it’s tacky silicone, it will attract hair. If you have a baby and pets, you know exactly what I’m talking about. So if you’ve got pets (I don’t at the moment but I have in the past) you might need to wipe this down regularly. But going to a less tacky product would probably reduce the flexibility and softness, so it’s a trade-off. If you have rounded corners, this will do nicely. If you don’t, you might be better off with something more rigid and slick like pvc or another type of plastic. But then again, there’s less cushioning with plastic. So it’s up to you to decide what’s most important. Also if you have 90° corners, I don’t think this will work on them. But it could work in conjunction with dedicated corner protectors.

I guess I’d rate this more at 3.5. It’s made of silicone, and I got the clear color. It’s very easy to peel and stick and seems to fit most standard household corners. However, I cannot get over the smell. It’s very chemical smelling. At first I thought it was the bag it came in, but it’s a combination of the product and adhesive. Definitely wash your hands after handling. If chemical smells don’t bother you, then this product would be 5 stars

Whenever I sit in my swivel chair at my desk I tend turn around quickly when I’m multitasking and end up banging my kneecap right into the sharp edge of my desk drawer. Thank goodness I found this product because it fixed my problem and my kneecaps are rejoicing.🎉

Did not stick well and fell off leaving part still on when to remove it completely and it ripped the paint off the dresser

Tried to put along edge of metal legs of couch, and spent a long time pushing it down to get all bubbles out, but it started peeling off within a few hours. Pushed it back on again, and same thing happened. Unfortunately can’t return because already cut/used it3 stars because otherwise it may work better for an exact 90* angle edge. Seems like good thickness and cushion.

An absolute necessity for baby proofing. These were easy to install and you can barely notice them on the coffee table. We put them on the edges of every table in the house

At first it looks like a great product for the job. However, when we stuck it on top of the cot to prevent the little one biting it, he instead picked it off and along came the paper backing off the cot! We did wait a while so that the adhesive had chance to stick for long enough and its a shame how the Mamas and Papas cot was poorly made, but didn't want this to happen to anyone else. The bed is now in a worse condition than before. I think it's fair to say the adhesive wasn't quite strong enough. A real shame...

Really good - does the job well, surprised I haven’t used this much sooner!! Bought for a large leaner mirror , that has spent years scuffing up any wall its leant upon. This has totally changed that. Easy to use, stays in place. Barely visible once on and against the wall. Would defo recommend

It's firm enough to stick really well, but soft enough not to injure if you accidentally bump against it. 100% recommend for sharp edges you want to protect.
