Intel CoreTM i9-10900K

Personally I was scared to order such a CPU, however I just went for it and it came earlier than it should of, I built my pc up and downloaded the Intel drivers, after that I downloaded a few games and tested them out, immediately I noticed a difference, my fps doubled since my last pc. I was reallyimpressed by it. Also the cpu was running at more than 4GHz, nearly 5, so I didn't even want to OC it because it was already good enough. Personally I was impressed and glad that ordered it.

If you are thinking to buy this chip then the main thing to ask yourself is do you really need so many cores? This has 10 cores and 20 threads. Most software can't use so many threads at once. Even many multi-threaded applications max out on how many they can use at once. Now you might think who cares, just get as many cores as possible to have the fastest CPU. But here comes the problem. 10 cores in a chip this size is very difficult to keep cool. Once it gets hot it throttles and performance drops. So you may be better off getting a chip with slightly less cores that is easier to keep cool well enough for it to run at 100% speed. Even with water cooling its hard to stop this thing throttling when it's pushing really hard. I managed it, but its harder than any other chip Ive ever overclocked. If you plan to cool this with a normal air heatsink I would say forget it. You will hardly ever have it running at its full performance. Get an eight core i9 or Ryzen equivalent, it will work better. This is why I can only give the chip two stars for easy to install and value. But if you really want the maximum amount of cores and you know what you are doing with the cooling then go for it. Its still not as many cores as the top Ryzen chips but its not far off and it has the impressive single core performance that intel is known for. Most of the software and games you run will be on one core anyway, so high single core speed is still really important.

Doesn’t work, wasn’t sealed been trying to sort it for hours and nothing. Don’t buy from this seller, it’s from the US even though this is the UK Amazon. It’s clearly dodgy. Save your money and time!

I tried plugging it in to my 4 hertz monitor but it didn't show anything. Wast of money, I wanted to play Rust on a new PC but no I guess.

現在Ryzenが品薄＋値上がり傾向にあるので、こちらを購入してみました。 ネットで性能が悪いと酷評を付けられているので不安でしたが、どんなゲームをしていてもCPU使用率が30%を超えることはまずありません。 FPSも60どころか100を割ることは、今のところありません。 QHD環境でRTX3080と合わせて使用しています。 どのCPUも正直過剰スペックであり、別にRyzenにこだわる必要はなくどちらでも良いんじゃないかと思いました。
