The turning handle is plastic along with parts of the gears. Was looking for a solid metal can opener.

I was very excited about this can opener, because... rainbows!! But it doesn’t work. At all. Have tried using it 3 times so far on 3 different kinds of cans and each time it punctures the can but then doesn’t move. Each time I’ve ended up having to use a knife to stab the can and get it open, which is a pretty unsafe way to open a can. I would return it but in my move I think I threw away the box. So this will go in the garbage also, and I’ll probably have better luck with the can openers at the dollar store.

All of my silverware is in this rainbow finish so when I found this can opener that matched I decided to get it because they're some cans my electric can opener won't open so I figured a manual backup would be nice. When cooking dinner last night I tried to open a can of beans with my electric opener but because of the lip on the can it wouldn't open all the way so since I got this earlier this week I figured this was the best time to try it out for the first time...and it broke. On it's very first use the turner came lose and the gears came off. I get that things aren't meant to hold up forever but when it can't even hold up on it's very first use then you have a poor and cheaply made product. I guess all their energy went into making sure the thing looked nice instead of making sure it works properly. Unfortunately I threw the box away so I can't return it for a refund so it's just going in the trash and I have to waste more money buying a new one from a better company.

So excited to get this cool new can opener & get rid of my dollar store one, until I tried it. It will not open even 1 normal can, tried several, latches on then you turn the crank & it comes right off the can . . . opened them with my dollar store opener instead.

This thing is a beast. Not cheaply made. I was expecting a pos because it has that rainbow iridescent color and figured that would be the coolest thing about it, but it actually works well too! Got it for the girlfriend because she is on this kick of trying to get every utensil in my kitchen to look like that... Wish me luck.

One of the best Hand Held Can Openers I've ever had.My fingers have nuprophty and arthritis ( Would live to have electric opener, not in budget)This operner does the trick.Thank You

So far this is working well , I somehow manage to break can openers rather frequently, this one doesn't stick and opens can smoothly.

It will not open cans. It just digs into the side and tears at the metal. I think its the magnet on the side is misplaced?

i hate giving negative reviews , but this is absolute garbage. flimsy handle and flimsier crank. if i didn’t know any better i’d say this was a toy to teach children how to operate a can opener. looking at the positive reviews , it’s possible i got a lemon.

At first, it worked but was little but strenuous to use. The handle didn't spin easily.After about 4-5 uses, it stopped working altogether. I can clamp it closed and puncture the can, but then when I try to turn the handle, it spins free. It doesn't turn the gear to spin the can around.I will need to buy a replacement, because at this point it's useless.

I had been using a much lighter can opener for some time, so I was impressed by the weight and cutting ability of this can opener. I'm still getting used to the optimal angle to hold it at as it is so different from my previous can opener but once it gets started, it is smooth. It also has a magnet for when you accidently drop the lid into the can!

Eine absolute Frechheit, so einen Artikel zu versenden! Der Öffner weist teilweise sehr tiefe Kratzer auf. Er ist qualitativ minderwertig, wackelt und ist schief und billig vernietet. Das Firmenlogo ist auf einem Griffteil abgenutzt. Dieses Gerät hat sicher schon einige Wurstdosen hinter sich. Eine Frechheit für 12€! Sowas will ich nicht mal geschenkt. Fliegt sofort in den Müll!

This is pretty but I'm sure it's going to break within a month the most important part on it is hollow cheap black plastic sooooo stupid!!!!
