Xcover Low Profile Hard Folding Truck Bed Tonneau Cover, Compatible with 2015-2025 Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon Pickup 5.2 Ft Bed

I purchased and installed my Xcover low hard fold tonneau cover in January 2023. I found the instructions to be adequate and the cover relatively easy to install. I was initially very pleased with the purchase. Unfortunately, after about three months, the foam blocks, which support the rear and middle panels when the cover is open, and which were initially secured with double-stick tape, started falling off. I contacted the company and they responded promptly, suggesting I resecure the blocks with more double-stick tape or AB adhesive. I presume AB adhesive means a two-part epoxy, and since the tape had failed after only a few months I chose two-part epoxy. The epoxy has worked well now for about two weeks. We’ll have to see how it does after a hot humid summer here in Alabama. It’s a hassle to have to resecure those foam blocks. The manufacturer should change their process to better secured them.

Nice cover so far. Looks great. I’ve only had it on for a couple days. The Hardest part is getting your self organized and figuring out what goes where. Directions are decent to follow. The video on here helped a lot. Took me about 1.5 hours to put it on. I have never did anything like this before.

Nice sturdy bed cover. Surprisingly it’s not leaked any water. I’m very pleased with everything about this cover. I would definitely buy again.

I purchased this Xcover for my Chevy Colorado less than 2 years ago and check out the pictures of what has happened to my cover already. All the way across the middle of the cover it is rotting and separating from the top layer, The top layer is bubbling, splitting and breaking apart with ugly rust streaks running down it. This cover has not had any abnormal use and nothing has been abused or stored on top of the cover to make it do this. I don't live in any extreme weather conditions and the vehicle is well taken care of. My opinion its that this cover is absolute junk quality! The manufacturer refuses to honor the warranty because I bought this through Amazon as an unopened box return instead of directly through Xcover. It was brand new, the box wasn't even opened when I received it. Amazon states that a warranty claim must be honored by the manufacturer (that's you Xcover) but Xcover found a loop-hole to not honor the 5 year warranty. So here we are, less than a couple of years of buying a new cover and paying a decent amount of money, I'm left with this rusting, peeling, bubbling junk. Check other peoples reviews as well, I'm not the only one who has experienced this issue, and I believe there will be more people reporting the same thing as these covers reach 2 years of use. I would think twice before purchasing this cover, there are better covers available and maybe for a bit more money, but do you really want to risk having your cover look like mine after a few years, or even after 5 years and 1 day when the warranty expires? I don't think so.

So definitely like the price, function and look. Please update the video and written instructions for my application. I was also short two metal washers for the top security hand tightening support bolts. I made do with some stainless steel washers from my boat stash. But it is important, as there are many competitors, to get everything right. Especially with such a good product. Details!

2020 Colorado short bed. Overall I love the hard cover and the way it looks. I’m really happy I went with this instead of a soft cover. I had to contact customer service about a small issue, they were actually very responsive and helpful which made me want to leave a review. Couple things to note if you are in-between which covers to buy. 1. This still lets water drip from the sides into the bed. It’s not a lot and I’d have no issue storing most things in it during a rainstorm, but you should be aware. 2. I’d been debating on getting one of the covers that folds up and blocks the rear window. If I constantly needed access to my full bed, I’d recommend one of those. This cover is pretty easy to remove, but large enough that I really don’t want to have to do it. Plus the hand screws to remove have a few washers that i think I would lose if I removed it often.
